Total War: Three Kingdoms - Eight Princes DLC DLC - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

TOTAL WAR: THREE KINGDOMS – EIGHT PRINCES CHAPTER PACK * New campaign set 100 years after the Three Kingdoms period began * Eight new playable princes with substantially different playstyles… * Supported by unique buildings, assignments and court options * New elite units: pummel your foe with mighty cataphracts! * Shape your faction development with four new alignments: Wealth, Spirit, Might, and Mind * Key public order and faction-rank changes to reflect this unique conflict The year is 291 CE, and a generation has passed since the tumultuous events of the Three Kingdoms period began. Despite the tripartite division of power which brought the conflict to a stalemate, and the brief unification of the kingdoms under the Jin dynasty, civil war is no more than a heartbeat away. For the Jin is a dynasty divided. Its many ruling princes are hungry for greater power, each with ambitions – and methods – of their own. Eight stand above all others… will they rally to their emperor and empress? Or carve a legacy for themselves that will echo through the ages? The Eight Princes Chapter Pack is set 100 years after the events of Total War: THREE KINGDOMS, and features a new cast of playable factions led by the foremost princes of the Jin Dynasty. These Eight Princes offer feature substantially different campaign mechanics, focussing their playstyles in fascinating and unique ways PLAYABLE PRINCES Each of the eight playable princes adhere to the five core character classes of the base game, and have their own sets of campaign mechanics which strongly focus their gameplay style. Sima Yong: the shrewd defender Class: Vanguard Playstyle focus: defence and infrastructure Unique units: * Xianbei Horse Archers (harassers, high rate of fire and mobility) * Xianbei Riders (shock cav, excellent charge bonuses) Sima Yong has a particular focus on defence and infrastructure. All garrisoned armies increase reserves and faction support, and help to decrease construction costs in his settlements. His unique Military Security building chain improves noble support, income from all sources, boosts prestige and provides additional garrisons. His unique Military Supervision assignment further boosts income from all sources, but at the cost of noble support. Known for his talent at identifying capable people, Sima Yong has an increased chance for Man Of The Hour events triggering after battles. Sima Jiong: the imperious regent Class: Commander Playstyle focus: centralised government Unique units: * Qi Guardsmen (polearm infantry, good vs cav, excellent armour) * Qi Crossbowmen (armoured crossbowmen, excellent vs armoured units) Sima Jiong’s unique resource is Control, which increases noble support and decreases corruption. Control is generated by the faction leader, and through military successes, but is lost through military losses and the assignment of ministers at court. To combat the latter and increase control, Sima Jiong has a unique court action enabling him to cast out powerful characters from ministerial positions. Sima Jiong’s unique administration building chain generates further control while reducing corruption, and his commanderies have access to a unique Micromanage Commandery assignment, boosting income from all sources and reducing corruption, at the cost of some control. Sima Yue: the imperial overseer Class: Sentinel Playstyle focus: politics and internal government Unique units: * Xu Raiders (assault, shock infantry, good charge) * Warriors of Xu (Frontline axe infantry, high health, good missile defence) Sima Yue’s unique resource, Influence, decreases construction costs and time and increases his faction’s research rate. It is generated through special assignments in his commanderies, and lost through military defeats. It also decays naturally over time. His unique Labour economic building chain boosts population growth and reduces construction costs. His court also features two unique ministerial positions: the military emissary which reduces recruitment costs and enables the Military Interference assignment, and the Provincial Advisor, which reduces corruption and enables the Provincial Inspection assignment. Sima Ai: the principled administrator Class: Champion Playstyle focus: internal development Unique units: * Infantry of Jing (polearm infantry, anti-cav, good morale and armour) * Archers of Jing (excellent ranged damage, high ammunition) Sima Ai’s unique resource is Reformation, which improves trade influence and research speed, while reducing corruption. Reformation is generated by settlement development, as Sima Ai’s unique Reformed Infrastructure trait means that buildings in commandery capitals influence the increase – and decrease – of Reformation. To further enhance Reformation, Sima Ai’s faction also has access to two unique commandery assignments. Restructure Administration boosts Reformation gain and any Refo

All are accomplished brigands; in addition, The Illyrians of the Ardiaei favour piracy, the Thracians of the Odrysian Kingdom are excellent archers, while the people of Tylis, heirs to the Celtic migrations into Asia Minor, train their new melee infantry recruits to a high standard. New religion – The Ardiaei and Odrysian Kingdom both feature their own unique religious building chains, which bring numerous benefits and effects to their campaign gameplay. New technologies – The Ardiaei and Odrysian Kingdom both feature their own unique technologies, which enable the player to unlock key new units and effects which replace parts of the core Barbarian culture technology trees. Total War: Rome II - Daughters of Mars Unit Pack DLC - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

Total War: Rome II - Daughters of Mars Unit Pack DLC - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

Daughters of Mars Unit Pack Athena, Bellona, Andraste, Mars: whichever war deity these soldiers pledged their lives to received a solemn promise of victory in the face of even the most formidable enemies. Whether in defence of their homelands, or called upon to fulfil their part in glorious conquest, female combat units featured throughout the ancient world. Adding a swift and deadly mix of fighting styles and abilities to the fray, generals will wisely place value on those who aspire to be the avatar of the war gods themselves! Gladiatrices Can be recruited by Rome, or as mercenaries in Italia. Honed to a razor-edge through countless drills and contests in the arena, Gladiators and Gladiatrices are ruthless and skilled brawlers. Their sledgehammer approach to melee brooks no compromise, and in the right circumstances, they can inflict heavy losses on traditional soldiery. Heavily armoured and disciplined, Gladiatrices are more formidable defenders than their arena-trained male counterparts, and every bit their equals in their lust for battle. Mercenary Kushite shieldwomen Can be recruited as mercenaries in Aethiopia. The fiercely independent Kushite Nubians are a geopolitical force to be reckoned with. Their mounted archers and skilled infantry have repelled Roman advances on multiple occasions, ably demonstrating their proficiency in large-scale battle. The zealous, spear-armed warriors of the Kushite Shieldwomen are swift, agile and deadly; able to strike swiftly from woodlands and trained to form up effectively in defence, Cavalry commanders would be wise to fear them. Lusitani Swordswomen Can be recruited by The Lusitani, or as mercenaries in Lusitania. Honed by generations of conflict and rightly feared for their lightning ambush tactics, The Lusitani have built a reputation as excellent guerrilla warriors. Trained to advance under the whittling fire provided by the Cantabrian Circle, their swift and hard-hitting Swordswomen are adept at exploiting woodlands to remain hidden while they move. When the charge comes, it is swift, sudden, frenzied and terrifying; though used carefully, Lusitani Swordswomen can also mount a formidable defence. Cimbri Bow-Women Can be recruited by The Suebi. Like many Germanic tribes, the dense woodlands of northern Europe have impelled the Suebi to develop superior guerrilla warfare techniques. Adept at making the most of cover and striking from a hidden position, the Cimbri Bow-Women are amongst the finest archers the Suebi can field. With superior weapon range and damage, they can wreak havoc before they are even detected. If attacked directly however, they can give a better account of themselves in melee than their principal role suggests. Spear Gladiatrices Can be recruited by Rome, or as mercenaries in Italia. Bringing the bloodthirsty and brutal melee techniques of the arena to the battlefield, Gladiatrices make excellent shock-troops. When armed with spears, these warriors gain a defensive edge over their sword-wielding battle-sisters, making them better prepared in the face of an assault. Arranged effectively, they can stop the hammer-blow of a cavalry charge in its tracks, and their frenzied riposte can inflict horrific casualties. Gorgo’s Skirmishers Can be recruited by Sparta, or as mercenaries in Hellas. The citizens of Sparta were among the finest infantry in the ancient world. With the Helots performing the ‘lesser’ functions of society such as agriculture, Spartan warriors were free to engage in the all-encompassing pursuit of excellence in combat. Athletics and weapon-drills were not the sole preserve of men, however. Faster-firing and heavier-hitting than standard sling-wielding units, Gorgo’s Skirmishers make a valuable addition to any Spartan force. Spearwomen

Sniper Elite 5 - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

Sniper Elite 5 - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

Sniper Elite 5 for PC is a third person tactical shooter/ stealth game. Fans of the franchise will be delighted to, once again, take on the persona of Karl Fairburne, who, this time, journeys to France in 1944: initially to meet up with the French Resistance with a view to getting home, only to be drawn into a plan to take down a recently uncovered Nazi project called ‘Project Kraken’. ABOUT THE GAME Following on from Sniper Elite 3 and Sniper Elite 4, Karl is trying to find his way out from behind enemy lines with the help of the French resistance: but they have other ideas, seeing as he is there and possessed of skills that they could put to excellent use. They’ve heard about Project Kraken and surmised that the Nazi’s are up to no good at all (even more so than usual) so why not send Karl – who is part of a covert US Rangers operation – to have a look? Seizing any chance to bloody the bad guys’ nose, Karl goes for it. Karl must work quickly and quietly: in the game there is little in the way of covering ambient noise. This means that any shot should only come after you’ve carefully plotted your immediate escape. This is not a fast and furious game, but a slow and thoughtful one – but fraught with tension so it’s never dull and is always pulse boosting. The AI is fast and responsive, and thinking ahead can stand you in good stead in later parts of the game, so be mindful right from the beginning. Abelard Möller is the big bad, an Obergruppenführer who is the most senior of several Axis bosses that you must battle and he will give you a considerable challenge as you fight your way to the conclusion of the story arc, after many adventures, beautiful shots on target, and excitingly close escapes along the way. THE NITTY GRITTY When you make successful shots on target you will activate the X-ray kill cam: it shows the bullet’s progress, not only to the target, but into their body, showing the damage inflicted by the shot. As always, kill cam’s slow motion features is still a well-loved one. Given the importance of the weapon to any sniper, it is no surprise that your weapons can be extensively customised. The game is linear, but offers several wide-raging options on the expansive play map so you don’t feel too constrained. Try not to forget to save before any big plan is put into play – if you go wrong, you can do it over with new choices and not too much stress. MODES OF PLAY There are several ways to play the game: Single player: You are Karl, you are on your way home, and stumble into Project Kraken and work straightforwardly to thwart it Co-op play: Team up with a friend to play co-operatively through the adventure Co-op play: Invasion Mode: Invasion mode lets a third-party player come in and battle snipe against you both. This feature is automatically on when you start play, but if you want to play it straight, you can switch it off again in the menu. If you decide to leave it on to see what it’s like, you are alerted when an invader is around Survival Mode: A four player (including you) game: offers exciting shoot ’em up survival mode Multiplayer Mode: 16 people go head to head in in multiplayer sharpshooting action

Total War: Warhammer II - The Warden & The Paunch DLC - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

Total War: Warhammer II - The Warden & The Paunch DLC - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

The Warden & the Paunch is the latest Lords Pack for Total War: WARHAMMER II. Introducing two rival Legendary Lords from the world of Warhammer Fantasy Battles, each with their own factions, objectives, mechanics, units and playstyle, for use in both the Eye of the Vortex and Mortal Empires campaigns, and custom/multiplayer battles. Eltharion the Grim commands Yvresse (High Elves) while Grom the Paunch leads the Broken Axe Tribe (Greenskins). Neither Yvresse nor the Broken Axe tribe are involved in the Vortex race, but are pitted against one another as eternal nemeses, on a collision course to a final climactic encounter where only one can emerge the victor. Long has Eltharion the Warden of Tor Yvresse stood sentinel, ever-watchful for signs of Greenskin incursion. While he campaigned overseas against the Druchii of Naggarond in ages past, Tor Yvresse nearly fell as the green tsunami of Grom the Paunch’s legendary Waaagh! roared through Ulthuan. After defeating Grom and scattering his hordes, Eltharion swore that no Orc or Goblin filth would ever set foot in his lands again. But Grom has other designs. His cavernous belly aches for a rematch, and his hunger for vengeance is matched only by his titanic appetite. As his gobbos tend to the bubbling cauldron, delighting him with each tasty new morsel, his plans begin to set. He’ll gather them all, the bosses and the boys, wind them up to a fever pitch, and lead them on a Waaagh! the likes of which the world has never seen. This time, Tor Yvresse will fall, and its snooty Warden will kneel before the mighty Paunch! HIGH ELVES - ELTHARION THE GRIM (YVRESSE) Unique faction mechanics: Athel Tamarha In a secluded Yvresse mountainside lies Athel Tamarha, Eltharion’s base of operations. It lies in ruins, untouched since Grom’s previous Waaagh!, but Eltharion seeks to rebuild it in Tor Yvresse’s defence. In Eltharion's campaign, Athel Tamarha is represented by a new panel where the player rebuilds structures to gain numerous unique benefits. In addition, Eltharion can use his unique Warden’s Cage ability against enemy Heroes and Lords in battle. Should they fall while under its influence, they will be imprisoned in Athel Tamarha for interrogation… Athel Tamarha has a number of structures across two unique chains which can be rebuilt. Each enhances Tor Yvresse’s defence rating and grants the following: * The Silent Sentinels chain can increase Tor Yvresse’s defence rating and enable the recruitment and upgrading of elite Mistwalker units, plus increasing recruitment capacities for several unique elite unit types available to Eltharion. * The Watchers of Yvresse chain enable the interrogation of captured Heroes and Lords, improvements to the Mist of Yvresse, and bonuses to Eltharion’s Influence. * Through the questioning, vanquishing and indoctrination of captives, Eltharion can gain useful information and other benefits. Mist of Yvresse Tor Yvresse will become progressively shrouded by an enchanted mist, enhancing all of Eltharion's troops and disrupting enemies caught within it. * Provides the unique Army Ability ‘Envelop in Mist’ which enhances your troops’ performance when fighting within its influence * Athel Tamarha upgrades grant additional effects as the Mist become stronger. * Increasing the strength of the Mist of Yvresse will eventually cause it to cover all of Ulthuan as a protective aid. Defence of Yvresse Eltharion will gradually build up defensive power at Tor Yvresse, as Eltharion's homeland becomes increasingly fortified against invasion. * At the campaign outset, the city of Tor Yvresse will begin in a damaged state until upgrades are completed, progressing the city into rebuilt then fortified states. This is reflected in any battles fought over Tor Yvresse, affording increasingly stronger defensive abilities and options for Eltharion. * The Yvresse defence level also expands the Mist of Yvresse to cover further regions of Ulthuan, enhancing Eltharion’s forces and weakening interlopers. Rite: Invocation of Ladrielle For Eltharion, the Invocation of Isha is replaced by the Invocation of Ladrielle, which empowers the Mists of Yvresse. NEW UNITS AND CHARACTERS: Eltharion (Legendary Lord) Eltharion the Grim is the unflinching warden of Tor Yvresse. Atop his mighty Griffon, Stormwing, he swoops into battle with peerless conviction. Eltharion wields a spear and a sword, as well as being a caster of High Magic. This offers him the flexibility to alter his role in battle based on the circumstances at hand. His defence-focused abilities also make him excellent at holding firm battle lines. Archmage (Lord) The High Elven Archmages are amongst the greatest practitioners of Magic within the mortal realms. With the introduction of the Archmage, High Elf players now have access to all 8 core Winds of Magic and the Lore of High Magic to choose from, ideal for those who pref

Gotham Knights - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

Gotham Knights - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

Gotham Knights for PC is an action-based role-playing game with four playable characters – see below for more on these – set in an alternative DC universe after the presumed death of the Batman. About the Game Gotham City thinks that the Batman is dead, but whether he is or not – you will have to play through to find out (or not) – he has left some final advice for his various companions. These friends must work together to keep Gotham’s criminals from celebrating the vanquishment of their archnemesis too overtly. However, in the aftermath of Batman’s mysterious disappearance, the gang of friends discover the existence of a criminal cabal. It is known as The Court of Owls, and is said to be as old as Gotham City itself. The cabal possess – as all villain-worthy secret societies do – its own personalised league of assassins, known in this case as the Talons. However, the Court of Owls are not the only antagonists in the game: fans of the DC Dark Knight will be delighted to recognise the likes of The Penguin, Mr Freeze and many more, all operating alongside the bad actors of the Court of Owls. You will play across five district boroughs of Gotham City, which is a fully open world, allowing you to explore as far and wide as you like. It doesn’t matter which playing character you choose, they all level up as you do, so you can introduce a new-to-you character during harder levels without losing any of your hard-earned skills. The Nitty Gritty The game is designed for predominantly solo play, but a buddy can join in and help you out as a drop-in drop-out facility second player. The second player can rage-quit for half-an-hour and then come back without having too much of an effect on the main player’s game, which is useful for those with volatile friends. As you play through the levels and improve your stats, so do your enemies, so you don’t ever really have time to get bored with one level or another – the stakes rise along with your powers and abilities. The good guys’ base of operations is the belfry, because Bruce, for reasons that may or may not become clear as you play, has destroyed the Batcave. The Belfry is the game’s hub as well as the character’s daytime refuge, where you can change characters, update customisations, perform housekeeping tasks on the game, and generally get ready for the next chapter of play. The Belfry houses the BatComputer which helps to log your tasks, research and aids with other odds and ends of gameplay in a seamless and immersive manner. Ideally, the daylight lasts as long as you need it to, so you can spend as long as you like in the Belfry: as soon as you leave the belfry, night-time arrives and adventure beckons once more. Batman’s unique vehicles survived the BatCave destruction and are available to the gang – the Batcycle among them. Also surviving was Alfred Pennyworth, the butler, and he lends the protagonist a hand, with immersive and interesting cut-scenes. A final friend to the gang is Renee Montoya, a (seemingly rare) good cop. Who’s Who in the Belfry? All the following playable characters each have their own unique skills and skill trees, so choosing your character is not merely cosmetic as each level requires unique skills in order to master it. Choose from: Nightwing: Real name Dick Grayson, and the original Robin, as aficionados of the original comic series will recognise, this character is great at acrobatic manoeuvres and is skilled with dual escrima sticks Batgirl: Real Name Barbara Gordon, and, of course, Commissioner Gordon’s daughter reprising her comic-book role as Batgirl. She excels at not one but several fighting styles and is excellent at coding, making her the Belfry’s resident computer expert Robin: Newcomer Robin (the third person to hold the name) real name Tim Drake, this iteration of the beloved Boy Wonder can teleport using the Justice League’s satellite, and otherwise excels in stealth, fighting with his sturdy staff Red Hood: Jason Todd is strong and proficient with various and varied weapons, and uses the name Red Hood – which might confuse purists of the comic book lineage: it was used as a name for a villain who became disfigured and transformed into the earliest version of The Joker, now one of the most beloved characters in Gotham, bad guy or not!

Total War: Rome II - Desert Kingdoms Culture Pack DLC - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

Total War: Rome II - Desert Kingdoms Culture Pack DLC - (PC) Steam EUROPE Digital Key

The Desert Kingdoms Culture Pack introduces four new playable factions to Total War: ROME II. The Kingdoms of Kush, Saba and Nabatea fall under the African/Arabian subculture, while the Masaesyli are of Numidian origin. These factions are native to the deserts of Africa and Arabia. Surviving these harsh environmental conditions has forged them into hardy warriors who use the shifting desert sands to their advantage in battle. While culturally similar, each faction boasts unique new unit rosters which offer different military strengths. Each faction also has new building chains and technology trees, playing to their strengths and further differentiating their playstyles. Alongside their individual Faction Traits, the Desert Kingdoms all share the following Cultural Traits: Desert Warriors: +10℅ morale for all units during battles in the desert Deep-rooted Traditions: Penalty to research rate MEROE (THE KINGDOM OF KUSH) A major regional power with vast resources derived from its trade in gold, jewels and exotic hides, Kush has been overshadowed by its more powerful and famous northern neighbour, Egypt. In the early 3rd century BC, king Ergamenes decided to wrest power away from the priests of Amun, and moved the capital from Napata to Meroe. The priests would no longer decide the fate of the kings and queens. The shift of capital also marked something of a break from Egyptian culture with Hellenistic, Indian, Persian and African influences making their way through the trade routes. The kings and warrior queens would sit on the throne and rule with authority and conviction to protect the riches of Nubia. Even the Romans could not conquer Meroe, and preferred to trade instead. They were the first civilization to use cement extensively, and built remarkable watertight reservoirs, ensuring a plentiful supply of potable water. Even when under threat from powerful foes like the Seleucids and Judeans, their progressive society enabled them to flourish and prosper. The Nabataeans were very literate and had a remarkable degree of gender equality for an ancient civilization, with women participating in both political and religious matters. Nabatae was an important crossroad for the spice trade, serving as a conduit between the southern kingdoms that produced frankincense and myrrh, and the wealthy eastern and western empires who were its primary buyers. Preserving all this wealth at such a geographically strategic location demanded a well-trained military and a strong navy. Nabatae had both, bolstered by excellent engineering and exploitation of the surrounding environment, making their capital city of Petra a nigh-impregnable bastion. * New Wood Elves Race in the Grand Campaign * New additional Race-specific currency: Amber * Wonder-based Campaign victory condition * Wood Elves may conquer any region on the map * Two New Playable Legendary Lords: Orion and Durthu * Two new Lord types with deep-specialisation skill trees * Three new Hero types with deep-specialisation skill trees * Comprehensive Wood Elves army roster * Adds an additional campaign map to the game with the unique ‘Season of Revelations’ Wood Elves story Campaign * New Unique Monsters, Heroes, Magic and Game Features To outsiders, the forest realm of Athel Loren is a brooding and malicious place. The creak and groan of living wood echoes from its dim interior, the canopy seems to absorb all light, and half-seen spirits dart between the twilit bowers. To enter is to place your fate in their hands. Within dwell the Asrai, the Wood Elves. Though they hail originally from Ulthuan to the west as all Elves do, they spurn the sanctimonious arrogance of the Asur, the High Elves, and the murderous decadence of the Druchii or Dark Elves. The Asrai consider themselves to be the only true Elves left in the world, as they embrace all aspects of their nature – both light and dark – and for thousands of years, they have lived in harmony with the sentient forest. The Asrai share the wilds of Athel Loren with its spirits and protectors: the Dryads, Branchwraiths and the ancient guardian Treemen. They adopt its steeds, hawks and Great Eagles for their warhosts, and even rare Forest Dragons may deign to join them when the need is dire. Peerless archers and riders, the Wood Elves pay fealty to the demigod Orion, who dies in flame each midwinter, only to be reborn into thunderous life in spring beneath The Oak of Ages. Wild, lithe, and utterly ruthless in defence of their land, only a fool would goad the Wood Elves and their spirited allies to conflict. For those who witness the awesome spectacle of an Asrai host marching out of the woodlands on a Wild Hunt, it is likely the last thing they will ever see. CAMPAIGN PLAYSTYLE The Wood Elves campaign offers a uniquely different campaign experience to the other playable races of Total War: WARHAMMER. Their major infrastructure is housed in the Wood Elf settlements of Athel Loren, though they are capable of expanding outwards, capturing settlements and building limited outposts, known as Asrai Lookouts, in their stead. The heart of the campaign is The Great Oak, a unique 5-tier building related to the new Wonder victory condition. In battle, the Wood Elves are swift and deadly, fielding many ‘glass cannon’ style units. While less physically robust than most other races, and with smaller unit sizes, they make up for this with excellent melee and ranged capabilities. They field some of the best archers in the game, many of whom can move and fire, and may later be upgraded with a range of specialised ammunition. They are often accompanied in battle by the woodland kin of Athel Loren, such as Dryads, Eagles and Treemen. Their spellcasters wield the Lores of Life, Beasts and Shadows. New Story Campaign: The Season of Revelation Set across a beautiful and highly-detailed campaign map of Athel Loren and the surrounding Duchies of Breton, The Season of Revelation is playable as either Durthu or Orion, the Wood Elves’ two Legendary Lords. This campaign tasks the player with uniting Athel Loren in the face of Bretonnian incursions and, later, from a series of fearsome, climactic attacks by the Beastman warlord Morghur, and his corrupted bray-herds. THE OAK OF AGES The vast, ancient bowers of The Oak of Ages mark the spiritual heart of Athel Loren and the source of its sacred power. In the Grand Campaign, The Oak of Ages is a unique 5-tier Wonder building sited in Athel Loren which the player must grow over the course of the campaign. As the Wood Elf player advances it to each new tier, they will receive increasing bonuses to their campaign. Growing The Oak to tier 5 initiates The Battle of The Great Oak, a climactic multi-stage assault on Athel Loren’s spiritual centre by the combined and massed hordes of the Beastmen and Chaos Warriors. Victory (or survival!) marks the completion of the Wood Elves’ key campaign objective. New additional currency: Amber Alongside Gold, the Wood Elves require Amber to recruit certain elite units, to unlock certain technologies, and to expand the Oak of Ages. This is a finite resource in the world however, and can only be gained by capturing settlements and setting up Asrai Lookouts. As Amber is limited, this presents the player with a constant choice over whether it should be spent on faction development, military might or achieving their key victory condition. WOOD ELF SETTLEMENTS AND OUTPOSTS The Wood Elves are capable of capturing any province in The Old World, regardless of its race origin. However, these settlement locations can only ever house Asrai
