REA Audit Trail-Software ist eine optionale Softwareerweiterung für den REA VeriCube. Revisionspfade sind in der Gesundheitsindustrie (pharmazeutische Produkte und medizinische Geräte) erforderlich. In der Gesundheitsindustrie müssen Arbeiten unter streng kontrollierten Bedingungen (GxP-kompatibel) sowohl in der Produktion als auch in Laborbereichen durchgeführt werden. Dies wird durch Inspektionen der Aufsichtsbehörden überwacht. Hintergrund hierfür ist das US-Gesetz 21 CFR Teil 11 sowie die GMP/GAMP-Anforderungen der Europäischen Union und der Vereinigten Staaten. Alle Aktionen, die für Messergebnisse relevant sind, werden in einem Revisionsspurprotokoll überwacht und dokumentiert, das für Überprüfungen verfügbar ist. Dies ermöglicht es, zu verfolgen, wer Messungen durchgeführt, gespeichert und gedruckt hat, mit entsprechenden Einstellungen. Darüber hinaus können andere Aktionen und Konfigurationsänderungen am System verfolgt werden. Die erfassten Daten müssen vor Manipulation geschützt werden.
