Sid Meier's Civilization V: Brave New World is the second large expansion to the popular strategy game - Sid Meier's Civilization V. The title is developed by Firaxis Games studio, the creator of the basic version of the game and the first expansion pack - Gods & Kings. The production introduces a number of novelties to the game, including Polish civilization.
In Brave New World, the developer decided to add nine new civilizations. Each of them has its own special traits and chieftains. The specialty of our countrymen is Solidarity, and the leader is Casimir III the Great, who was the king of Poland in the years 1333–1370. New nations also include other types of units (e.g. Polish hussars) and buildings. In addition, new social systems and technologies were introduced to the game, and a complex system of ideology was added.
The creators also made it possible to nurture culture by interacting with the artists who create works of art. Thanks to this, we can make our civilization famous all over the world. Its development will also be influenced by a good transport connection between cities, thanks to trade routes. An extensive exchange network will allow us to make huge profits, and our culture and religion will reach the farthest corners of the globe. Eight more wonders of the world have been introduced to the game, including the Greek Parthenon, Broadway in New York and the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
In addition, it was possible to take part in the meetings of the World Congress. Decisions important for the whole world are made there, such as the use of weapons of mass destruction. In addition to all this, two additional scenarios have also been introduced that allow you to take part in the Civil War (we are on one of the sides - the Union or the Confederated States of America) and conquer Africa.
