The action of this part is set in a fantasy world, in the Cyrodiil province of the Tamriel Empire. The last ruler of that country, with the help of an anonymous killer, left this world prematurely. Tamriel's throne remained empty. As you know, such a situation is highly unfavorable for any country, as it promotes the spread of anarchy, and in this particular case, it has even worse implications. Namely, when the Tamriel Empire does not have a ruler, the gate to Oblivion (the equivalent of the hell we know) is open, allowing all sorts of filthy beasts to break free. It is not hard to guess that the world is threatened by a great cataclysm and that no one else but the player must prevent it. His task is to find the rightful heir to the throne and bring him to rule over Tamriel. Gameplay and characters The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY is characterized by a very large freedom in making decisions. Speech incl. about creating the character of our hero, traveling around the game world, completing thousands of side quests, or the main mission itself. We can become both a powerful warrior, magician, sorcerer, healer or thief. Nothing prevents you from belonging to different guilds or factions at the same time and from advancing in their ranks. What we do, our decisions and actions affect both the character we run and the environment. The game world is inhabited by nearly 1,000 NPC characters who make independent choices based on their personality, place where they are and remembered effects of previous interactions with other people. And all this is thanks to a special artificial intelligence system "Radiant".   For example Mehrunes Dagon. Enemy of every living race in the Oblivion. He believes that he is in fact the true ruler of the entire world. And he tries to prove it to everyone. Then, there is Azura. One of Daedic princes, who rules over the sphere of transition. The only Daedric lord, who somehow can be considered a decent person. Then, you are going to meet probably the most annoying character in the history of video games. The character progression system is similar to the one from Morrowind.  Your skills are rising when you do certain things. However the combat system is much more complex and interesting, especially within the context of magic. User interface was also changed. Now it is much easier to navigate through items. In general you are going to notice development in most aspects of the game. 2K Games focused on the development of a complex and polished game and you can see that. Not without a reason, Oblivion is considered as one of the best RPG games, ever created. Story and the plot The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY  story starts six years after the events of Morrowind. As before, the gameplay is set in a fictional world inspired by the period of the industrial revolution, in which elements of magic and steampunk were combined with the industrial aesthetics of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The version for the PC, PS4 and XONE platform is again the result of cooperation between the French studio Arkane (also known for the action game Dark Messiah of Might & Magic released in 2006) with the publisher of Bethesda Softworks - the owner of such brands as The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Dishonored 2 takes place 15 years after the events of the first installment of the series. Corvo Attano returns as the main character, but is also joined by Emily Kaldwin, the rightful heir to the imperial throne and privately daughter of Attano. The story no longer takes place only in Dunwall, the capital of the island Empire ruled by the Caldwin family, known from its predecessor, but in the warm south, in the city of Karnak, the seat of the Duke of Serkonos Island. The protagonists end up there, forced to flee far from Dunwall after Emily is deceitfully crowned by the witch Delila (known from the two Dishonored DLCs). Having reached Karnaka, the heroes begin to work out a network of conspirators and look for a way to restore the throne of the young empress. In the prologue, we have to choose whether we want to start the game as a young ruler or whether we want to jump back into the shoes of the protagonist from the first Dishonored - Corvo Attano. Although the story is roughly the same for both characters (the discrepancies are really small), the decision is so important that it cannot be changed - the other hero is imprisoned in Dunwall, and you can play him only on the next approach to the campaign . Each character plays a bit differently due to a different set of available magical powers and other dialogue issues (this time Corvo received a voice actor, Stephen Russell, known mainly as Garrett from the older parts of the Thief series). The formula of the game itself has not changed significantly compared to the previous installment of the series. In Dishonored 2 for PC, PS4 and XONE, the fun still comes down to completing new missions, the structure of which is somewhat reminiscent of the games from the aforementioned Thief series.
