Fallout 3: Point Lookout is the fourth DLC to the third installment of Fallout 3, a very well-known RPG about the post-apocalyptic world. The title was developed by Bethesda Softworks studio, responsible, among others, for the The Elder Scrolls series. Before Point Lookout, fans of the game received the following expansions: Operation Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel. Point Lookout is, above all, a huge new area to visit. This time, the authors presented us with a rather unusual scenery of dark swamps lying on the shores of Maryland. To get there, you just need to buy a ticket for the ferry, which appears in the standard wastelands from Fallout 3. The add-on is not only new places, but also quests and characters. When creating the whole, the authors were allegedly inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, so there are also themes known from horror movies. The expansion features a new town and an interesting storyline to unravel. We learn, among other things, the secret of the destroyed promenade, the secrets of the swamps inhabited by monsters, the history of the dark mansion besieged by hordes of enemies and the purpose of the mysterious Punga Fruit item. Point Lookout focuses primarily on exploring and searching for secrets in a new environment, offering dozens of different locations to visit. For the fourth DLC for Fallout 3, the creators have prepared several new weapons, such as a shotgun and microwave emitter, as well as unprecedented, even more dangerous opponents (including mutated natives). An additional attraction is a bonus set of perks and achievements, which of course diversify the fun. It is also worth paying attention to the high level of visual setting, kept in extremely dark colors.

Dishonored 2 is a continuation of the best-selling stealth and FPP game released in 2012. As before, the gameplay is set in a fictional world inspired by the period of the industrial revolution, in which elements of magic and steampunk were combined with the industrial aesthetics of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The version for the PC, PS4 and XONE platform is again the result of cooperation between the French studio Arkane (also known for the action game Dark Messiah of Might & Magic released in 2006) with the publisher of Bethesda Softworks - the owner of such brands as The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Dishonored 2 takes place 15 years after the events of the first installment of the series. Corvo Attano returns as the main character, but is also joined by Emily Kaldwin, the rightful heir to the imperial throne and privately daughter of Attano. The story no longer takes place only in Dunwall, the capital of the island Empire ruled by the Caldwin family, known from its predecessor, but in the warm south, in the city of Karnak, the seat of the Duke of Serkonos Island. The protagonists end up there, forced to flee far from Dunwall after Emily is deceitfully crowned by the witch Delila (known from the two Dishonored DLCs). Having reached Karnaka, the heroes begin to work out a network of conspirators and look for a way to restore the throne of the young empress. In the prologue, we have to choose whether we want to start the game as a young ruler or whether we want to jump back into the shoes of the protagonist from the first Dishonored - Corvo Attano. Although the story is roughly the same for both characters (the discrepancies are really small), the decision is so important that it cannot be changed - the other hero is imprisoned in Dunwall, and you can play him only on the next approach to the campaign . Each character plays a bit differently due to a different set of available magical powers and other dialogue issues (this time Corvo received a voice actor, Stephen Russell, known mainly as Garrett from the older parts of the Thief series). The formula of the game itself has not changed significantly compared to the previous installment of the series. In Dishonored 2 for PC, PS4 and XONE, the fun still comes down to completing new missions, the structure of which is somewhat reminiscent of the games from the aforementioned Thief series. We are faced with various goals, among which there are often assassinations, but the method of their implementation depends entirely on us - we have a lot of freedom in deciding which path to get to the indicated place in a vast location, dealing with guards (killing them in an open space). fighting, silent murdering, stunning, avoiding etc.), searching for additional information, dealing with optional guidelines, as well as whether we will murder or get rid of our victims in a bloodless manner. The game can be completed without killing anyone - including the shooting conspirators. In Dishonored 2, the visited locations have become significantly larger and richer in possibilities, and the chaos system (assessing the aggressiveness of the player's actions) has been improved so that it more precisely monitors the hero's actions and determines their consequences in more ways (this primarily affects the dialogue issues of the protagonists and the general climate and the end of the adventure). In addition, the mechanics of developing the power of the heroes and the arsenal of available equipment (including cartridges that interfere with the operation of mechanical guards or bolts that force the target to escape) have been expanded, allowing the user to further personalize his approach to the game. Like its predecessor, Dishonored 2 offers only a single player campaign - no co-op mode is included here. However, it is possible to adjust the difficulty level of the struggle. Gameplay and characters The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY is characterized by a very large freedom in making decisions. Speech incl. about creating the character of our hero, traveling around the game world, completing thousands of side quests, or the main mission itself. We can become both a powerful warrior, magician, sorcerer, healer or thief. Nothing prevents you from belonging to different guilds or factions at the same time and from advancing in their ranks. Not without a reason, Oblivion is considered as one of the best RPG games, ever created. Story and the plot The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY  story starts six years after the events of Morrowind. The emperor Uriel Septim VII was killed by assassins. However, before he died he handed the amulet of kings to the most random person in Tamriel. A simple prisoner. The amulet is a really powerful artifact and Septim (played by Patrick Stewart) asks the prisoner to shut down the jaws of Oblivion. The prisoner is you and with this cryptic information from the emperor, you start your adventure. Similar to Morrowind you are not provided with a direction, where you should go. It is entirely up to you what you are going to do.  You can focus on your main quest or not give a damn about it at all. You can become a mage, thief or anyone you wish or want. In general, you can spend dozens of hours in Oblivion and not touch the main story at all. The side quests by themselves might provide you with so much fun, that you won't even think about the main storyline of the game itself. You can also explore the entire, huge world of Oblivion, filled with interesting things to find.   Receptions and awards from game industry The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTYs had a huge marketing campaign before it was released. Hence, many players might wonder if the game was really capable of providing them with as much excitement as they might expect. Remember that Oblivion gained the Game of the Year Award in 2006. Together with all DLC's it is as many people put it, an ultimate gaming experience.
