Story
The plot of Exit The Gungeon is characterized by great simplicity - it is just an excuse to play. The story shows an escape from the collapsing extraterrestrial temple Gungeon, known from Enter the Gungeon . The player takes on the role of a hero who tries to get out of the complex and thus save his life.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Exit The Gungeon is shown in the side view. During the game, the player's task is to escape from the title Gungeon, which collapses in front of him. To do this, he has to overcome successive levels moving in a certain direction, trying to reach the elevator. From time to time, we also come across characters with whom we can talk (including people known from Enter the Gungeon ). At various stages, we encounter numerous opponents and bosses, which of course we have to eliminate. For this purpose, we use an arsenal of strange weapons and items that we come across during our adventure. We also collect hats, thanks to which we can change the appearance of our character. All elements of the world (including weapons available in a given stage) are randomly generated - thanks to this, each approach to this title offers a slightly different experience.
