The Sims 4 Discover University is the eighth major expansion pack for the popular life simulation video game, The Sims 4, developed by Maxis and released by Electronic Arts in 2014. The expansion pack adds a new world with two universities, as well as many features and objects that revolve around university life. TS4 Discover University is expected to be released in November 2019. Story The expansion pack, like the original The Sims 4 game, has no storyline. However, the sandbox nature of the title encourages casual play and allows you to create your own narrative for the families under your control, as well as entire neighborhoods. Gameplay The Sims 4 University Unveiled brings several new additions focused on the university, but the gameplay, overall, hasn't changed much, allowing you to quickly dive into the expansion pack without having to learn a lot of complicated mechanics. In addition to being able to attend university, your Sim can now pursue new careers, namely Education, Engineering, and Law. They can also learn Research and Debate skills, as well as Robotics. Reception The Discover University expansion pack received positive pre-release reviews. Reviewers mainly pointed out the new features, such as new careers to develop and new skills to learn, but most importantly the ability to enroll your Sim in a university so they can enjoy the real life of a student.
