Cave Story+ Steam CD Key
Cave Story + is a refreshed version of Cave Story - a warmly received production of the metroidvania type, which debuted in 2004 on PCs, to be released on other Nintendo consoles over time. The work of Studio Pixel described here has been released, among others, on the Switch and PC platforms.
Story
Just like in the original, in Cave Story + the player takes on the role of Quote, who wakes up with amnesia on a huge flying island. The protagonist quickly finds a village inhabited by the so-called Mimigas - mild-mannered, rabbit-like creatures harassed by a mad Doctor, for whom the hero we lead is the last resort. The hero sets off on a dangerous journey to face the henchmen of a maniacal scientist, and ultimately - himself.
Gameplay
In Cave Story + on Switch and PC, the action is shown from the side. The game consists in traversing vast levels resembling labyrinths, jumping on platforms and avoiding countless obstacles and traps, as well as fighting with enemies. Among the adversaries there are both smaller, not too dangerous, and over twenty mighty bosses. In the clashes, we use ten types of weapons, which we can additionally improve as we progress. Conversations with the neutral characters you encounter will help you gain useful tips.
