Age of Wonders III - Golden Realms Expansion Steam CD Key

Age of Wonders III: Golden Realms is the first major addition to Age of Wonders III's turn-based fantasy strategy. The extension was developed by Triumph studio, the same team that was responsible for the basic version of the game. The production introduces a new playable faction in the form of halflings, who received their own units and unique heroes, as well as a special luck mechanic that allows a unit to avoid an attack if it is in a good state of mind. There is also a mini campaign covering three scenarios that revolves around the fate of this race. In it, we can help the halfling survivors of the massacre rebuild their empire in an exotic land and face the ancient evil. In addition, there are also two standalone missions that can be played alone or in multiplayer mode. The expansion also includes numerous new locations, such as the ruins of extinct civilizations or the habitat of the Naga, a race resembling snakes. More than twenty additional types of units take part in the battles, not only those belonging to the halfling army, but also, among others, mermaids and monsters known as Glutton that can devour an entire squad at once. The authors did not forget to extend the list of artifacts by 50 additional items. Age of Wonders III: Golden Realms also introduces changes to the gameplay mechanics. Players can use the so-called mystical city upgrades that depend on nearby places with magical treasures. This increases the diversity of metropolises and makes their location even more important. In addition, each race has its own type of defensive structure. There is also an additional way of competing with other rulers in the form of the so-called Imperial Tasks. As part of them, the prize is awarded to the party that first completes a specific task - e.g. building an eternal city. A new victory condition has also been added, where players have to acquire structures with ancient seals and hold them for a certain period of time, while fending off rivals' attacks. This introduces a new type of indirect competition between players.
