For Honor: Marching Fire is the first paid expansion to the 2017 online action game For Honor. The production introduces a completely new faction of Wu Lin to the game, inspired by China and composed of several different heroes. We also receive several new game modes and improvements to the graphics. Developers from Ubisoft are responsible for creating this extension, who also developed the basic version of the game and consistently develop their title from the day of its release.
Gameplay
The biggest new feature in For Honor: Marching Fire is the new Wu Lin faction. It includes four fighters with skills and fighting style inspired by ancient China.
Shaolin, or Wei Chang, is a brave monk who belongs to the Hybrid class. In combat, he uses a staff and his athletic, trained body. His fighting style is clearly visible in kung fu - for example, some of his blows resemble the attacks of a monkey.
Tiandi (the real name of the male version is Shidou and the female name is Ying) is the protector of the rulers, equipped with heavy armor and a curved dao sword. Despite his armor, Tiandi can efficiently avoid his opponent's blows, as well as throw them off balance with kicks or slaps of his hand.
Jaing Jun (Guan Yu) belongs to the Heavy class. He is a specialist in zone attacks and is great at fighting several opponents at once - mainly thanks to the large range of his weapons (it is a kind of halberd called guan dao). Thanks to his special stance - sifu balance - Jun can also regenerate stamina faster than other warriors and efficiently avoid blows to perform deadly counter attacks.
The last new fighter is Nuxia named Lin Yao. It is quite a classic representative of the Assassin class - fast, agile and deadly on the offensive. Her characteristic skill is setting traps on enemies (she can perform fins, after which she traps the opponent's weapons in her shuang gou. She can also efficiently counterattack immediately after a parade or deflecting a blow.
