Zombotron is a shoot'em up, developed by an independent creator using the pseudonym Ant.Karlov. Although at the time of the premiere of this production, the author had fourteen years of experience in creating video games, his portfolio so far has included browser titles such as Fire Catcher, Alien Transporter, Mushroomer and Knighttron.
Story
The main character of Zombotron is a mercenary known as Blaze Rush. The protagonist is struggling with financial problems, so when he receives a warning signal from the title planet, he decides to land on its surface, sensing an opportunity to make easy money. Once there, Blaze Rush discovers that the mysterious message was sent by the crew of the crashed spacecraft; Meanwhile, his own ship falls victim to unknown looters, leaving him trapped on a foreign globe. In order to leave the Zombotron, the hero must find the thieves and recover the stolen parts of his ship.
Gameplay
In Zombotron, the action is shown from the side. First of all, Blaze Rush rushes forward and eliminates the hosts of enemies. Although the protagonist has a rich arsenal of firearms, nothing prevents him from using the surroundings to kill his enemies, for example by throwing piles of rubble on their heads. In addition, from time to time, the hero can sit at the controls of a combat vehicle, and in addition, the opponents themselves often fight among themselves - in such cases, you can just wait and finish the unfortunate one who succeeds in the duel. As the mercenary progresses, he gains experience points and advances to the next levels, as well as acquires new elements of armor; the latter not only increases his resistance to damage, but also affects the strength of his attacks.
