Injustice 2 is a direct continuation of the 2013 Injustice: Gods Among Us, a warmly received 2.5D fight developed by the NetherRealm Studios team - authors of the best-selling Mortal Kombat series. Like its predecessor, the title went to stationary platforms (i.e. PCs and consoles) and mobile devices.
Injustice 2 takes place in the universe created by DC Comics. After the events of the first installment of the series, the task of Batman and his companions is to rebuild society. On the other side of the barricade, however, Superman and his allies have positioned themselves, and the chaos that reigns on Earth is compounded by a new threat lurking on the horizon.
Released on the PC platform, PS4, etc. Injustice 2 is an impressive fight in which we can take control of dozens of heroes created by DC Comics. In addition to Superman and Batman, during the game we play as Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Green Lantern, or even Scarecrow. We fight in various arenas, located in Atlantis, Gotham City and Metropolis. The clashes are dynamic, and the key to success is the skillful use of the strengths of individual players and combining attacks into effective combinations. The biggest novelty introduced by the developers are RPG elements - while playing, we collect new pieces of equipment that affect the appearance of the characters and their combat potential, increasing their strength and endurance. In addition, as we progress, we get access to new Talents, giving us an advantage on the battlefield.
In Injustice 2 you can play both alone (facing opponents controlled by artificial intelligence) and in the company of other players. The online multiplayer mode is available not only on mobile devices, but also on stationary platforms - in the latter case, it is also possible to play on a shared screen.
Regardless of the platform, the graphics of Injustice 2 present a high level of workmanship. The attention is drawn to the refined character models, as well as the arenas rich in details. All this is complemented by the soundtrack that encourages you to fight.
