Fear Effect Sedna is the third installment of the Fear Effect series of action games, the first two parts of which were released on PlayStation. The continuation was created by the independent studio Sushee, working under the patronage of the brand owners - Square Enix.
Story
The game takes us back to the universe known from the Fear Effect series , which combines cyberpunk style with elements of mythology. Action Fear Effect Sedna begins four years after the events of the cancellation of the third part of the cycle. Known from previous games, Hana breaks out of the control of the Triad and chooses a career as an independent mercenary . In addition to her, other old friends return to the game: Rain Qin, Royce Glas and Jacob "Deke" DeCourt. The original director, John Zuur Platten, contributed to the story of Fear Effect Sedna . This time the heroes go to France and colder Greenland, where they explore deep caves, abandoned research complexes, underwater stations and unusual locations inspired by Inuit mythology.
Gameplay
Fear Effect Sedna is a tactical action game with an isometric view and real-time combat with an active pause . The player controls a team of up to five mercenaries, and each of them has different skills and weapons, thanks to which they complement each other. They take part in a number of story missions, each of which offers a different set of playable characters. In addition to fairly frequent fights, the player has to solve logical puzzles from time to time, related to, for example, opening a lock or disarming a trap.
