Steel Division 2: Black Sunday is the third extension to the Steel Division 2 strategy released in 2019. The action of the DLC takes place in 1944 on the Eastern Front, presenting the history of the Soviet Union's invasion of Romania, a country allied with Germany. Eugen Systems is responsible for the development and release of the supplement.
Gameplay
The Steel Division 2: Black Sunday expansion does not make any significant changes to the gameplay basics. Production is a strategy that combines turn-based elements (strategy development and unit management, preparation for battle) with real-time action (clashes during which we command troops).The expansion introduces a lot of new units - six historical divisions, such as the 5th Motorized Cavalry or the 4th Mountain Infantry Division Vânători de munte. The DLC also includes a lot of equipment, such as the Vanatorul de Care R-35 tank destroyer, JRS-79B bombers, river BKA combat boats or T-80 tanks . A total of 150 new units and two aces were added to the game (tank destroyer Lazar Munteanu and Soviet pilot Konstantin Dmitrievich Denisov).
