Mater Earth Bar Stool With Backrest 74 cm Coffee Light

Earth Stool is a round bar stool designed by the Danish architect Eva Harlou. It represents the result of an innovative waste-to-value technique that enables Mater to recycle industrial waste from companies, such as plastic waste and other fiber-based materials. The seats are made from recycled plastic waste and coffee husks from BKI Coffee. The technique has been developed in collaboration with the Technical Institute of Denmark with support from the University of Copenhagen. The waste materials are mixed into a unique compound suitable for die casting – a method designed to recycle companies' resources more efficiently. The Earth Stool represents classic Scandinavian design with a steel frame that makes the bar stool elegant and timeless.
