Ditzel had an experimental approach to design, which resulted in the Nanny rocking chair. The chair is handmade in sustainable rattan material, which is a piece of craftsmanship that can be seen and felt in every detail. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. This makes rattan furniture remarkably strong and able to last for generations.
