The sea throws him and the other survivors ashore on the cursed island of Seiren. The survivors quickly decide to build a village to protect themselves from local beasts. They also start organizing trips to the surrounding ruins.GameplayIn line with the series' traditions, the PC Windows Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana belongs to the action RPG genre, so we spend most of our time getting rid of enemies using the arcade combat system. During his adventure, Adol is accompanied by side characters , including Laxia who wields the rapier perfectly, Shahad who uses the anchor in battle, or Hummel armed with a rifle with a bayonet. The player can only directly control one of the heroes at a time, but the game allows you to seamlessly switch between teammates at any time. From time to time, the campaign offers us separate sections in which we only control Dana - the challenges in them differ significantly from the segments with Adol and his team, relying mainly on solving puzzles. In addition, the game is equipped with light strategic elements. During our adventures, we often come across other survivors and if we save them, they will live in the village, where they will perform various useful functions.
