Om denne bunker og 2. Verdenskrig “set fra lynghøjde” skrev han for få år siden en trilogi Operahuset på heden, Spillemandens krig og Høst 1943. Efter en årrække som journalist og novelleforfatter debuterede Erik Juul Clausen i 1985 som romanforfatter med Spionen fra Atlantis, som Harald Mogensen i Politiken kaldte “en solvogn af en roman”.
