Foldable cutting mat A3 45x30cm grey 1pc

Foldable cutting mat A3 45x30cm grey 1pc

The small foldable cutting matDo you have limited space or are you often on the go with your creative projects? Then you need a foldable cutting mat. It's a must-have for those who don't want their cutting mat to take up so much space when you're not using it!Spacious cutting mat yet easy to bring alongWhen unfolded, the cutting mat measures 45x30 cm (A3) - but when folded, it measures only about the equivalent of an A4 sheet. In other words - this mat fits easily in your bag or purse, for example when you're going out to cosy events with your creative friends. The fold itself is smartly made with wavy edge. This means you get an incredibly tight joint that you can easily cut across without affecting the blade. The cutting mat is light grey with distinct dark grey markings. The mat has the classic centimetre markings, as well as millimetre markings on the outermost centimetre all round. Finally, it has angled lines, so it's incredibly easy to work with.Cutting mats for many purposesWhether you're the creative type who sews, draws, paints or cuts, the cutting mat is just a must-have. You protect your table from "accidents" and at the same time it's easy to move your creative project by storing it (temporarily) on the cutting mat.The soft quality also makes the cutting mat suitable for you who draw and write - or maybe for the kids, so the kitchen or living room table doesn't get unwanted lines on it.  A few more detailsThe cutting mat is self-healing with a non-slip backing. The mat measures 45x30 cm or the equivalent of A3 when unfolded.

Lyocell offers all sorts of benefitsLyocell is a fantastic fabric and the Lyocell manufacturing process is eco-friendly. A Lyocell fabric has irresistible properties – and you can sew a multitude of creative projects with it.From wood to textile fibresLyocell is made from wood – primarily eucalyptus. The wood is broken down in a chemical process and spun into textile fibres.Lyocell is produced under environmentally friendly conditionsThe method used to convert the plant fibres into textile fibre is similar to that used to produce viscose. However, while not necessarily the case for viscose, Lyocell is always produced in a closed system. No wastewater from Lyocell production is pumped back into the natural environment. More or less all process chemicals and water are recycled.Enjoy Lyocell's moisture-wicking propertiesLyocell has an amazing capacity to absorb sweat and release it again quickly. Lyocell actually releases moisture 50 % faster than cotton. This means that Lyocell regulates body temperature and helps you maintain body water balance.Lyocell is anti-bacterialGood moisture management also means that Lyocell has an anti-bacterial effect. Moisture absorbed directly from your skin is transported to the inside of the fibre – it does not remain on the surface where bacteria have good opportunities to spread.Less odour and less energy consumptionWhen you make Lyocell garments, they are therefore more resistant to odour than cotton. Less odour means fewer washes, lower domestic water consumption and less energy to power the washing machine and tumble drier. Great news for you! You do not have to wash clothes as often – and that is great news for the environment! What are you going to make in Lyocell?Lyocell is ideal for all sorts of creative projects. Use it to make dresses, skirts, trousers, shorts, tunics and tops.Avoid tight-fitting designsWhen you sew in a Lyocell fabric, we recommend that you avoid using sewing patterns for very tight-fitting styles. Lyocell is a woven fabric with relatively little stretch.

Polystyrene foam pellets 100ltr

Polystyrene foam pellets 100ltr

Filling for the Bean Bag Use these polystyrene beads for your bean bag to create a comfortable seating experience.  You get 100 litres in a bag, so it takes up a good amount of space in the post and your craft room. But you also need a lot of beads to fill up a bean bag.  If you're more into lounge chairs and pouffes, you can also use bead filling in these.  Search among our sewing patterns and find inspiration. Here, we also provide an overview of how many litres of bead filling each project requires.  And if you "only" need a few beads for refilling, you can also buy a smaller bag – search for "bead filling" to see all the options.  Make Good Use of the Leftovers If you have a few too many polystyrene beads for your floating furniture, you can, for example, make a nursing pillow or use them as filling in decorative figures. Remember that the small beads can easily escape through small holes in your crocheted or knitted project – so it might be a good idea to have an extra thin and tightly sewn bag inside the figure.  How Many Beads Do I Need? It's hard to say because it entirely depends on the size of your project and how filled you want it to be.  To make it easy for you, we've indicated the quantity in our patterns, so you have an idea of what we recommend.  Good to Know These polystyrene beads are made of polystyrene and are, of course, 100% free from brominated flame retardants.  The bag contains beads of various sizes to achieve the best final result. They have a diameter of three to five millimetres.
