Green Groove Bamboo (Bambusa Phyllostachys Aureosulcata Spectabilis)
This ‘groovy’ bamboo has a wonderful chessboard pattern along its canes.
The thick yellow canes of Green Groove Bamboo are decorated with (yes, you guessed it) vertical green grooves. New canes show spectacular red highlights in the springtime, especially when grown in a sunny location. Green Groove Bamboo is very hardy against the elements and its fast, upright growth makes it an excellent choice for creating hedges or privacy screens for your garden.
