One Punch Man manga and anime are a kind of parody of superhero comics and Japanese shonen animated series (intended for young boys). The action takes place in a fictional version of modern Japan. They tell the story of a certain Saitama - a warrior who is so powerful that he defeats every enemy with one blow.
One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a fairly classic fight in which the actual game takes place in three dimensions (although we most often observe it in a side view). While controlling our character or characters, we perform blows (regular and more powerful special attacks), trying to reduce the enemy's health bar to zero. In the production of the Spike Chunsoft team we will find numerous heroes known from the comic book and the One Punch Man series, such as Genos, Terrible Tornado, Silver Fang, Atomic Samurai, Hellish Blizzard, Mumen Rider, Speed-O'-Sound Sonic, Deep Sea King, Carnage Kabuto , Mosquito Girl or Vaccine Man. The creators used a unique mechanic in the game - in some modes (against AI), the fight is accompanied by a counter that counts down the time until Saitama arrives - when this happens, the fight practically ends (Saitama is basically immortal and he defeats all enemies quickly). We can accelerate the arrival of an ally by performing devastating combinations and special attacks. Interestingly, the creators also found a clever way to make the undefeated Saitama a playable character without the risk of disturbing the balance of the game: we can play as ... Saitama's Dream, a dream version of the hero wearing striped pajamas.
