Bound by Flame is an action RPG with gameplay from a third-person perspective. The game was developed by Spiders studio (Faery: Legends of Avalon, Mars: War Logs). The title is set in a dark fantasy universe where difficult moral decisions lurk around every corner.The main character of Bound by Flame is a mercenary possessed by a demon who wields the destructive power of fire. However, he does not have full control over his "host". The extent to which the protagonist will succumb to demonic influence depends on the player. Many times he is faced with a choice: to succumb to temptation and gain powerful powers or to develop the qualities of a righteous hero? The main plot has been divided into chapters, the appearance of which is largely shaped by the decisions made - both the story and the development of the hero. Before starting the game, the player creates his character, deciding, inter alia, about her gender, appearance and base statistics. You can develop in three areas: as a warrior, fire mage or assassin. Character improvement was based on the traditional system of advancing to the next level of experience and unlocking skills from the selected development tree. Acquiring magical powers involves putting a part of the hero's soul under the rule of a wicked spirit. This is related not only to the protagonist's abilities but also to his appearance - the more influence the demon exerts on him, the more it affects the protagonist's appearance. A character's combat effectiveness is also modified by the equipment they carry. This one can be made by yourself. The creators took care of a crafting system, thanks to which the player can forge and improve swords, armor and other items on his own. The Bound by Flame Bestiary includes many fantasy creatures, including dragons, lychees, undead, mud beasts or ice monsters. Dynamic combat requires a certain dexterity from the player, despite the fact that the character's statistics are the most important during battles. The main character does not have to travel alone. On his way, he meets people willing to join his company. Depending on the player's actions, different relationships can be developed between the team leader and his companions: romances, friendships or rivalry. In terms of graphics, Bound by Flame does not differ much from the world's leading RPG genre. The quality of the setting and the graphic style allows you to feel the realities of the fantasy world, where exotic places are inhabited by hideous monsters.
