Story
The authors did not bother creating an extensive plot, so the scenario is only an excuse for the game. We play the role of a specialist in explosives, who is employed by Doctor Wallow to cleanse the galaxy of aggressive creatures, which is to allow our employer to become the ruler of the universe.
Gameplay
Bombing Bastards is a clone of the classic Bomberman games . We observe the events from a bird's eye view, and each map is in the form of a labyrinth through which enemies roam. Our task is to kill them, but the only weapons we have are bombs. They only explode some time after planting, so we have to learn to anticipate the enemy's moves. The levels consist of both indestructible obstacles and elements that can be demolished. The game takes place in five types of worlds, offering a total of thirty labyrinths. The authors took care of a large variety of opponents, as well as five powerful bosses. In addition, by destroying objects and killing enemies, we can collect many types of useful items that provide special powers.
