Like a slow black and white film, like certain moments in life. That tea seemed to never end, while the little Osmanthus flower floated among the swirls of the cup. It was just love and we would have liked more time to live that moment of our lives, sitting on the terrace of a historic colonial ale house in Luang Prabang. Dreams tells of that moment suspended between dream and reality, that moment in which our mind and our heart are still in a distant place and we feel lost, confused, as if suspended...| With Sogni I told about my love for Japan, my memories of past trips, my passion for Kawabata's literature, Kurosawa's films and bonsai. I tried to tell a new story with a warm wood scent, my Japanese dream. One day, a long time ago, I thought or dreamed of being able to create a perfect woody perfume, where the different woods told of time, the flow of life itself, once again a challenge, a perfume that could be unique, exciting and engaging. Dreams is the realization of this desire of mine, an immediate experience, incredibly close to reality and the nature of things. The initial notes of Sogni are tatami wood and Japanese pine needles, we are in an ancient ryokan in Kyoto and the rain has stopped falling. A bowl of hot rice is next to us to remind us of the simplicity of life, its purity. Our attention is brought to the nose by the green, clear and transparent note of a bamboo forest, the floral note of Peony is an emotional haiku. I was born in the South of the world, in a place that I thought would be my eternal island. Ciavuru d'amuri means perfume of love and is an olfactory journey backwards, in my memory. It tells about my childhood, the time of my youth, a dedication to my mother and my grandmother, a special dedication to my father, Bartolomeo. I remember the fig tree, its body was large and it created shade in my grandmother Vincenza's flower garden. There I spent the carefree time of childhood. The 3rd travel note opens in the milky green of the Fig, in the bitterness of the Artemisia and the Bergamot. Everything is soft with time and white, like mothers' dresses, like the Sicilian sun. The heart of Ciavuru d'amuri is a flowery bouquet of Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang. It was the white flowers that created the reflections of light that still illuminate my eyes with emotion today.
