Kilian Angel's Share Eau de Parfum is a sweet unisex perfume. With the introduction of a new olfactory family, Kilian Hennessy pays homage to his position as heir to the renowned family of French cognac producers and to the olfactory intoxicants chosen to guide the night towards dawn. The Angel's Share Eau de Parfum, the result of the first collaboration with the French perfumer Benoit Lapouza, is Kilian Hennessy's most personal creation, inspired by the eighth generation legacy of Hennessy savoir-faire in cognac production. The perfume delves into the cellars of the mind and memory of the founder, in its most mysterious dimension: the angels' share (part des anges or angels' share), an evaporation of the liquor in the oak barrels which rises during the aging, like a silent offering to the gods. Just like a Master Perfumer creating accords and essences in a perfume, a Master Blender combines eaux-de-vie in perfect proportions for an exceptional cognac. Angels' Share contains Cognac essence derived from the liqueur to give it a natural caramel color. Opened with cognac oil, on a blend of oak absolute, cinnamon essence and tonka bean absolute, the long-lasting notes of sandalwood, praline and vanilla make for a delicious finish, an exclusive blend that only angels should be able to experience. The perfume bottle from THE LIQUORS collection was conceived as an essential speakeasy, like the art deco glasses that recall the most fabulous bars. The weighted glass is etched with the iconic K pattern to project and capture light at all angles, finished with a diamond-shaped gold plaque signed in white silkscreen. These details are a guarantee of a luxury that must not be ephemeral, but last a lifetime.
