Lillet Rosé Apéritif 75cl

Lillet Rosé Apéritif For the creation of the original Kina Lillet, Paul and Raymond Lillet took inspiration from Father Kermann, a travelling monk after his return from South America. Upon his return he produced medicinal using herbs and spices. It originally included quinine, and was the French equivalent of a Gin & Tonic to ward off malaria. Of the three remaining Lillet's available today (Rouge, Rosé and Blanc) their Rosé is the newest, coming to market in 2011. This was created under cellarmaster Jean Bernard Blancheton, and is (as the name would suggest) a rosé-wine-based liqueur. Both the aroma and taste of this liqueur is full of berries, orange blossom and a citrus note of grapefruit. On the palate there is a little acidity to start, which soon melts into the flavours which are headlined through their aromas. It finishes smooth and highly refreshing. More from Lillet Perfect Serve Typically enjoyed as an apéritif, it can be enjoyed neat or with a wedge of citrus in the glass. It can also easily be lengthened with soda water of tonic to create a refreshing lower alcoholic drink, perfect for the warm days. Or how about something refreshingly different? Try a Lillet Frosé Cocktail. In a blender add 50ml of Lillet Rosé, 15ml of lime juice, 15ml of sugar syrup, some ice cubes along with some frozen watermelon chunks (peel and seeds removed). Blend briefly and serve in large glasses with a straw.

Dewar's White Label Whisky 70cl

Dewar's White Label Whisky Originally founded in 1846 by John Dewar, the Dewars brand is now a globally renowned blended Scotch Whisky. Their Iconic White Label whisky was created the year after their Aberfeldy distillery was opened in 1899 by their first Master Blender, A.J.Cameron. It soon became their best-selling variation.  The Aberfeldy distillery remains in production today 125 years later. It's located in the beautiful Perthshire Countryside, at the foot of the Scottish Highlands. It is this distillery which providies the whisky at the heart of the White Label blend, amongst a total of 40 different whiskies. Fun fact: The Celtic Truth knot found on the bottles, is formed of three interlocking D's - from the three founders: John, Tommy and John Alexander Dewar On the nose there is a honey sweetness, joined by peach and apples as well as a little wood and hay. The palate is smooth, with a medium depth to it. A smoky oakiness comes through which is joined by a vanilla toffee sweetness and a touch of honey.  The finish is long but doesn't linger and brings cut herbs and more honeyed sweetness.  Meer van Dewar's Perfect Serve Delicious savoured however you enjoy your whisky, and is perfect with a drop of water or over ice.  However it was Tommy Dewar (one of the founders), which created the 'Original Highball' in 1892 whilst in New York. He asked for his whisky to be served in a tall glass, along with soda and ice - and so the drink was born.

Hun Master Blender zorgt ervoor dat de combinatie precies op het juiste moment plaatsvindt om de karakteristieke kleur, geur en smaak te garanderen. Havana Club Añejo 3 Años Rum Havana Club hails from Cuba and is a representation of the island’s rich heritage. Rum is an essential part of the Cuban culture and the Maestros del Ron Cubano make Havana Club following traditional Cuban rum making methods. An aspiring Maetro will spend 15 years training under the supervision of the senior Maestro del Ron Cubano to become a true master of their craft. Its not something you can learn from books, it's ‘’a cultural heritage, passed on from Maestro to Maestro’’ Havana Club use what nature gave to Cuba, ‘the isle of rum’. The rich sugar cane, fertile soil and the tropical climate is what makes their rum so special, and what makes it difficult to replicate the distinctive taste outside of Cuba. Havana Club Añejo 3 Años rum is a white rum that has been aged for three years, giving a pale, golden straw like colour. On the nose, there is a full bouquet of smooth aromas, with delicious hints of sugar cane, molasses and oak. This well balanced and complex rum has a freshness from the continuous distillation process and character from the ageing process. It has a mild, slightly sweet, fruity taste with a light hint of citrus. More from Havana Club Perfect Serve Can be served with cola or perfect for making authentic Cuban cocktails. For a classic mojito, add 2 teaspoons of white sugar and 25ml fresh lime juice to a tall glass. ‘Muddle’ a few mint leaves in the glass and add 50ml Havana Club Añejo 3 Años rum and some ice cubes. Mix with a barspoon and top up with soda water. Add a sprig of mint to garnish. Or how about a Frozen Banana Daiquiri?
