Over the years, the brand has passed into the hands of new owners, so Games Farm studio and the German publisher bitComposer Games are responsible for the creation of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms. Story The events told in Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms take place a few years after those we witnessed in the original, released a decade earlier. Nevertheless, the sequel tells a completely new story, not directly related to the previous game. The titular Heretic Kingdoms plunge into chaos, and the only chance to save them from being swallowed by darkness is to use the power and potential of the souls of the greatest heroes who walked on the earth years ago.Therefore, the only being able to save the world and at the same time the main character of the production is a demon known as the Devourer. His special abilities consist in being able to wander between two dimensions - the real and the shadow world - and devouring the souls of dead beings in order to take control of them.
