Tools Up! is a social cooperative game focused on the renovation of houses. The whole thing resembles a mixture of House Flipper and Overcooked games: we renovate the rooms and test our cooperation skills in accordance with our clients' guidelines. Poles are responsible for the title - The Knights of Unity studio and All in! Games.
In the game, we play the role of a renovation team, which was commissioned by the inhabitants of a mysterious skyscraper to renovate each room of the building in their absence, taking into account the wishes and needs of its tenants placed on the construction plans.
Tools Up! consists of a campaign divided into individual missions of increasing difficulty. It depends on us whether we will play as friends and as a team, or whether we will become a team troll, disturbing at every step rather than being helpful in any way. However, we must bear in mind that the goal of the game is to score as many points as possible, which is influenced by the time of completing the task and following the client's recommendations.
In addition, each of the missions can be played in any order in Party Mode, provided that the level was finished in the main campaign.
Initially, we play as one of the four characteristic characters, but as we go through the missions, we have more and more of them to choose from. The locations that we are renovating differ from each other in terms of their surroundings, colors, and even weather conditions and the style of buildings.
The activities we perform include painting, wallpapering, demolition, cleaning, lifting furniture, rotating the camera (this activity is available only to the person holding the construction plan) and everything else that will turn a pleasant job into a nightmare for the rest of the colleagues.
Pouring paint? No problem. The devastation of the door? Of course. Pushing employees into other rooms? Of course! The choice is ours.
