Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive is a point-and-click survival adventure game from the Polish studio Scriptwelder, which takes us on a journey to post-apocalyptic reality. While playing Don't Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland, we play the role of David, who is fighting for survival.
Story
Don't Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland takes us to a post-apocalyptic world. As a result of the cosmic cataclysm that led to the rupture of the Moon, the Earth, torn by natural disasters on a global scale, became unfit for life. The few who have managed to survive have to fight for each day.One such unfortunate person is David, haunted by nightmares which he considers prophetic. The protagonist must at all costs survive the title four days in the wasteland; during this time he faces the dangers that await him every night and tries to find out if there is a way out of his current situation.
Gameplay
Observing the action in isometric view , in Don't Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland we travel through post-apocalyptic wastelands looking for useful equipment; it is about weapons as well as items needed to solve puzzles. Although during the game we have full freedom as to where we go at a given moment, each day the hero has a limited amount of time that he can spend on visiting and plundering new places (which often requires paving the way, for example by repairing a damaged bridge) or fortifying your home to prepare it for the next night. After dark, his hideout must provide him with a shelter from various threats - from attacks by bandits or mutant spiders, to the passage of poisonous gas clouds or waves of hot air. These, like the encountered puzzles, are selected randomly, which increases the replayability of the title being described.
