God Eater 2: Rage Burst for PC, PS4 and PSV is a dynamic action game enriched with elements known from RPG titles. The title is an extended and improved version of the second part of the God Eater series, which was officially released only in Japan on portable PSP and PlayStation Vita consoles in 2013. The Japanese company Bandai Namco and the Shift studio are responsible for creating a production inspired by the extremely popular Monster Hunter series. Developers have experience in creating titles from the genre and are responsible, among others, for Freedom Wars, which appeared on PS Vita in 2014. God Eater 2: Rage Burst has the content of the original version of the title and numerous improvements, both in terms of graphics, which is visible especially in the PlayStation 4 edition, as well as in the gameplay itself.
The action of the title takes place three years after the events of the first God Eater. As the nameless hero, we travel through new locations and eliminate the threat that lurks. The arcade combat system is invariably based on the player's reflexes, and it is worth preparing the appropriate tactics for each opponent. The adversaries have different strengths and weaknesses, the discovery of which is the key to success. The heroes can use a rich arsenal of huge weapons, the choice of which dictates our style of gameplay and tactics used on the battlefield.
