Resident Evil Origins Collection is a set released on PS4, PC and XONE, consisting of two classic installments of Capcom's cult series Resident Evil, remastered for next-generation platforms. The package included the refreshed first part of the Resident Evil HD series, which debuted in 1996 on the first PlayStation, and Resident Evil Zero HD, which initially appeared in 2002 only on Nintendo GameCube consoles. Both remasters were released in 2015 and 2016, respectively, on PCs and seventh and eighth generation consoles. In Resident Evil HD we play the role of one of the members of the elite S.T.A.R.S.
