Resident Evil Zero HD is a remastered version of Resident Evil Zero, which was originally released on the Nintendo GameCube console and was ported to the Wii in 2008. The title offers improved graphics and is a prequel to the first part of the extremely popular series, which repeatedly redefined the survival horror genre, and in a way even created it (this name was used for the first time in the promotion of the first Resident Evil, although games based on similar assumptions appeared earlier) . The Japanese company Capcom is responsible for creating this title.
In the game we play two characters - Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen. The first of these is a member of the S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics And Rescue Service) who travels to Raccoon City to investigate a series of mysterious murders. However, the helicopter transporting the heroine crashes before reaching her destination, and in order to survive, she has to join forces with a former soldier, sentenced to life imprisonment by a military court for killing 23 people during a mission in Africa.
