A graphically refreshed version of the popular shooter from 2002, published in Poland under the title Serious Sam: Drugie Starcie. The main character is again Sam Stone, who, after killing all the monsters in ancient Egypt (in First Encounter), this time sets out to do the same in South America, Babylon and Medieval Europe. The locations have changed, but the mission is still to annihilate everything that moves.
Story
Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter is an FPS game reduced to the most basic elements of the genre. There is no need to count on an extensive story, puzzles or complicated gameplay mechanics. In this production, the only thing that matters is fighting dozens of incoming monsters. The fun is also diversified by battles with bosses of enormous size. Players can use all weapons from the first game. In addition, we have at our disposal many new killing tools, including a flamethrower, sniper rifle and chainsaw. In addition, compared to the original, the developers have enriched the remake with a new multiplayer game mode in the form of a cooperative tournament. The biggest novelty in Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter is the refreshed graphics of the program. Improved texture resolution, added new effects, and improved character models. All this thanks to the use of the Serious Engine 3 graphics engine.
