When we are ready, the ship goes on its way, and we start building additional devices on the free hexes, such as laser turrets, rocket launchers, shield generators and boosters. We use all this not only to repel enemy attacks, but also to eliminate natural threats (e.g. asteroids). After taking off, we have no control over the flight route of the unit, but it is possible to control the weapons and other on-board systems. The game offers a great variety of challenges. In addition to several enemy factions, there are also bosses in the form of giant ships or space monsters. The situation is similar with the transported goods - they have been divided into several categories, and each of them requires different conditions during the journey.

We have to carefully observe the adversaries' movements in order to find gaps in their defense as quickly as possible and parry their attacks (if we indicate the direction from which the attack is coming, we will be able to counter). Kyiv's Games studio, the authors of the base game, is responsible for this title. We go back to the land of Nelwe to play the role of the ruler of the city of Silverfall. Two rival groups - "The Coal Clash Clan" and "The Bark Panters" - are waging a devastating war in the nearby area. There is a choice of gender, facial appearance and hairstyles for each of these breeds. In Guardian of the Elements, players receive a completely new crafting system. It is enough to develop the appropriate skill tree and crafting unique items will not be difficult. You can also upgrade your current items. The creation system was based on simple rules. Item will be based on the main material that we declare at the beginning of the creation process. Then we decide on the color and general appearance of the item. We can stuff it with spikes or cover it with crystals. Each of the armor decorations provides different bonuses. In addition, the game will feature gems called "demon stones". They come in two types: "lesser" and "greater". The former are common, while the latter are powerful pebbles, very rare, available only after making a series of qeusts. You can put them on armor and weapons, which will increase their statistics. You can take them off and put them in a backpack at any time, or replace them with others. The game features 22 new special abilities and eight completely new skills, the so-called "Ultimate Skills", available only to players with the highest experience levels. Also new are almost a hundred items, including unique, very rare weapons and sets of clothes, which, when completed, will provide bonuses for the entire set. Opponents also gained new abilities. Various monsters will stand in our way. The AI has been improved so that the player has to be more careful when choosing his equipment and deciding on tactics. Appears in the ability to trade between players. There is also a multiplayer that has basic modes such as co-operative. The character movement system has been improved. The camera is suspended loosely and can be rotated and tilted at any angle. The quality of the setting and the graphic style allows you to feel the realities of the fantasy world, where exotic places are inhabited by hideous monsters.

Pendulo Studios is responsible for its production, which became famous for three installments of the extremely popular Runaway series. The latest title is a free continuation of ideas previously used by Pendulo in Hollywood Monsters - a Spanish-language adventure game, originally released in 1997. The action takes place in the Hollywood world of the 1940s, spiced with fantastic elements. In the reality of The Next Big Thing, the role of celebrities, producers and movie stars is played by monsters. In the game, we play the role of two charismatic heroes - journalist Dan Murray and his colleague Liz Allaire - involved in an original story full of unusual twists. Both characters are very different in character and therefore they honestly hate each other. The blonde Liz is intelligent, ambitious, professional and energetic, but at the same time a bit crazy and obsessively truthful, which often puts her in quite a lot of trouble. Dan is the braziest, cunning, lying, and unbearably seductive sports reporter in all of California. The story begins when the two main characters are commissioned to report on one of the big Hollywood parties. They accidentally witness a break-in into the film office of the giant William Fitzrandolph. Liz without hesitation decides to take matters into her own hands, starting an investigation. Unfortunately, her partner, as well as a whole bunch of various, more or less human residents of a luxury mansion, is not so eager to cooperate, especially since the whole thing seems to have a deeper intrigue. The game is full of humor, riddles and puzzles, as well as references to mass culture, including famous movies and TV series. As in the previous productions of the Pendulo studio, we meet a lot of bizarre characters during the game. One of them is prof. A fly that, after an accident during the tests of its invention, turned into a half human, half fly. The Next Big Thing is a 100% adventure game. The fun consists mainly in searching the locations thoroughly, having conversations, collecting items and, of course, solving puzzles. We start by choosing one of the three difficulty levels. The first one has built-in hints and the ability to highlight elements of the location in which we can do something. The middle level has the tips turned off, and the highest level lacks any of these facilities. The story was served in a graphic style characteristic of Pendulo Studios, maintained in a humorous, cartoon style with strongly saturated colors. The game uses the same technical solutions as in Runaway: A Twist of Fate, although the characters and backgrounds were developed in Full HD for the first time. It is also worth adding that the creators went with the times and offered support for many different resolutions. Owners of modern monitors do not have to worry that the view will be spoiled by the black stripes on the sides of the screen.

The creators also made sure that the actions and decisions made by Roy had an impact on the course of the plot. Real-time combat is an important element of the game. The main character and his companions have to face hundreds of enemies, including numerous beasts inhabiting the surface of Mars. A large arsenal of available weapons and varied combat abilities come to their aid.

Interest in new technologies, however, began to destroy this harmony, which resulted in the emergence of numerous conflicts between the followers of the old and new order. Moreover, the forces of evil decided to take advantage of the resulting confusion and take over us with the world and magic. The player must avert the danger, and thus, show fortitude and considerable skill in the use of a sword and spells. Gameplay At the beginning, we have to choose a character representing one of the four races (humans, goblins, elves and trolls), and assign him a maximum of two travel companions. With a team constructed in this way, we are going to conquer fantastic lands, among which the most interesting are, among others, around the city of Cloudworks and areas near the Brazer volcano. While performing various missions, we fight nearly 150 types of enemies. The bestiary includes both common goblins and minotaurs, as well as slightly more dangerous dragons. In skirmishes, in addition to the standard arsenal of weapons for RPG games, 130 abilities and spells that our players use are also extremely useful. The cooperation between the heroes is, by the way, the key to success in the campaign.
