During the game we play the role of Hans - a poor boy who did not receive any gifts on his birthday. For this reason, the young man decided to leave his family home and go to the forest in search of adventures; after dark, the frightened protagonist encountered a kobold on his way, followed by a mysterious castle. On the spot, the kobold had a vision of becoming the new count - the condition he had to fulfill in order to receive inexhaustible riches was to guess his name.Thus begins the adventure of Hans, which may end in one of five ways; which of the finals we will see depends on the choices we make in the course of the struggle.In The Count Lucanor, released on the PC, PSV etc. platform, the action is shown in isometric view. The main element of the game is the exploration of the gloomy mansion - the chambers bathed in darkness are lit with a candle; Solving puzzles, some of which can be solved in several ways, also play an important role.Hans encounters various characters and creatures who may be friendly or hostile towards him. In the case of the former, our client can count on, for example, a conversation (and often also receiving tips on puzzles), while from the latter he has to hide under tables or behind curtains (after all, we are talking about mascaras taken out of a childhood nightmare).
