With the expansion's debut, Tactical Adventures not only introduced a new story campaign , but also allowed players to play in  cooperation mode .StoryLong ago, when the Rift opened, many of the people of the Manacalon empire faced an unnamed terror. However, not all of them showed courage. There was no shortage of those who stayed on their estates to defend them against the new threat and gangs of looters. Still others, unsure of their allies' victory, sought refuge in the Dominion Valley. Even though they were surprised by the scale of the Cataclysm, this valley became a sanctuary where Manacalon's ancient traditions survived. However, no one had the opportunity to share them with the outside world. Anyone who ventured into the Valley ruled by a tyrant with an iron fist did not come back alive. Perhaps the players will have more luck?GameplayLost Valley does not revolutionize the game. Solasta: Crown of the Magister is still an RPG strongly referring to paper role-playing games, in which we lead a group of heroes into battle in  turn -based clashes. The basic mechanics remained unchanged, including the use of environmental elements and the emphasis on character traits and talents. This doesn't mean Lost Valley is just another story to know. The new place brought with it previously absent environments inhabited by giants, golems and other enemies that you would not find in the base. The creators of the Tactical Adventures studio put emphasis on the freedom of the game and the three-dimensional maps - during the game we can climb and fly, which often helps to gain an advantage over opponents. Combat is played in a turn-based system, and success requires the appropriate use of the talents of each character. It is also possible to use elements of the environment - e.g. knocking down columns or wall fragments or destroying bridges. Other factors, such as lighting and character size, also play a role. We can use light as a weapon, but by doing so, we also reveal the position of our heroes , which exposes them to attack. The game also allows you to use small heroes when exploring - they are able to get to places where others will not enter , which is sometimes very useful, but can also expose a lonely character to death.
