Single Use NF Approved French 0.05% Breathalyzer Kit, 150

Single Use NF Approved French 0.05% Breathalyzer Kit, 150

Product Properties The easiest solution to ensure you comply with the French breathalyser law is to carry an NF Approved single use breathalyser. With the drink drive limit in France being close to that in England and Wales, these are also the perfect solution for those that need a cheap breathalyser to check themselves the ‘morning after’. Single Use NF Approved French 0.05% Breathalyzer Kits The cheapest solution to ensure you comply with the French breathalyser law is to carry an NF Approved single use breathalyzer kit. Don’t be fooled by fakes Any device that is NF Approved will have the NF logo on the packaging and the supplier will be able to provide you with an NF Certificate – ours can be seen here. ‘Tested to NF Standards’ and ‘Approved for use in France’ is like saying your car was ‘tested’ for an MOT; it doesn’t mean it passed! If someone is selling you an NF-Approved breathalyser kit, ask to see their certificate. If they can’t produce one, don’t buy it! Directions for use Blow into the bag with a full breath. Squeeze the bag through the crystals. If the crystals change colour, you know you have alcohol left in your system. There is a line to act as an indication of what the legal limit in France is. Frequently Asked Questions Will the French police test me with my kit? The Gendarme will not ask you to do a breath test for them using your own kit – they will use their own professional digital breathalyser if they suspect that you’ve been drinking. How many breathalysers do I need to keep? You only need to carry one – however if you decide to use it, you will need another unused kit to show a Gendarme if you’re stopped, which is why most recommend a minimum of two. But if you DO test yourself and find you’re over the limit, you’ll need a second to check you are to drive again – and a third to show the Gendarme. How do the single use breathalysers work? Unlike other kits where the user has to blow through the tube (which can be difficult for some users, especially the elderly) with our French NF-Approved breathalyser kit, the user blows into the bag without the tube first; the ends of the tube are then squeezed together (nothing to break off, throw away etc) and the air is then squeezed by hand back through the tube. How do I read the result of the breathalyser test? The results are easy to read; the crystals in the tube are white and turn red when alcohol is present. They comply with REACH legislation, ensuring that they are Chromium free. Images for illustration purposes only, actual product may differ.

AlcoDigital AL7000 Breathalyzer

AlcoDigital AL7000 Breathalyzer

Product Properties The AlcoDigital AL7000 breathalyzer is the most accurate semi-conductor device in our range of  personal digital breathalyzers.   It has a  replacebale wash and go sensor  therefore does not require sending away for calibration. Simply purchase a new sensor and change it over yourself every 12 months – just like a battery. FASTcar magazine rated the AL7000 the ‘best breathalyser under £100’ and said: ‘We reckon this is the best breathalyser on the market for under 100-quid because, unlike many, it’s not going to be a waste of space after a year of use. You see, to give a true reading all breathalysers need recalibrating every 12-months but, as this one is a part of their  unique swap and go range  it allows you to quickly change the sensor yourself for about £20. Its advanced semi-conductor sensor is one of the most scientifically sound out there pulling in accurate figures to ±0.01% BAC. We like the hard case and in-car power lead, too.’ The AlcoDigital AL7000 sensor measures alcohol in milligrams per litre (mg/L) of breath and provides measurements up to 2.00mg/L.  The English and Welsh drink drive limit is 0.35mg/L and the Scottish drink drive limit is 0.22 mg/L. It has an accuracy of ±0.01% at 0.05% BAC. The Al7000 is also the only semi-conductor breathalyser to come with a hard case and in car power supply. UK based 12 month warranty. Easy to use The AL7000 breathalyzer has a very simple, one button operation. With one press, the breathalyzer switches on and warms up ready for your test.  While it warms up you can insert one of your reusable mouthpieces, one of which you can keep safe in the battery compartment of the unit.  When the AL7000 is ready test it will display the word ‘ blow’ on the screen. Blow a deep and steady breath through the mouthpiece, into the AL7000. While breathing into the breathalyser a long beep noise will sound. When you hear two beeps the full sample has been taken and you can stop blowing and await your result. The result is displayed within seconds on the LED screen in mg/L. The whole process has been designed to be as simple as possible, so even after a few drinks there is nothing complicated to worry about. Please remember that there is no safe alcohol level to drive at other than ZERO. Swap & Go Semi Conductor Sensor Nobody likes having to send their breathalyzer in for calibration every 12 months – but how else could you continue to trust the accuracy of your breathalyser? With our Swap & Go range of personal digital breathalysers,  you can have that confidence without having to send it away to have it calibrated.  The AL7000’s replaceable sensor should remain accurate for 12 months (or 300 tests), you can then  purchase a brand new sensor  and replace it yourself – just like a battery. Approvals   CE approval   FDA approval   RoHS Compliant   DOT Alcohol Screening Device Mouthpieces The AlcoDigital AL7000 breathalyzer comes with 5 mouthpieces. They are all re-usable so you shouldn’t need to purchase any more in the future.  There is even a little compartment in the back of the breathalyser to store a mouthpiece so you don’t forget to take one out with you.  You can store the rest in the hard case provided. In Car Power Supply The AL7000 also comes with an in car power supply, so that when you are on-the-go you don’t need to worry about batteries. Additional Features  Test counter Batteries included Auto power off Hard storage case In car power supply Technical Specification Swap & Go premium replaceable sensor No annual calibration required Thin unit for pocket storage With hard case and in car power supply Measures in mg/L What is in the box?  AlcoDigital AL7000 breathalyzer x5 reusable mouthpieces x2 AA 1.5v batteries 12v DC in car power supply Hard storage case for breathalyser and power supply Hand strap
