Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action adventure game that takes players to modern Tokyo and lets them face hordes of yokai, or ghosts from Japanese folklore. The production was developed by the Tango Gameworks studio and was supervised by Shinji Mikami - the "father" of the Resident Evil series .StoryGhostwire : Tokyo takes place in an alternative version of the Japanese capital. As a result of a mysterious occult event, most (or exactly - 99%) of the city's population has disappeared. As if that were not enough, ghosts (called Guests) roamed the streets in search of victims and members of a mysterious group who hide their identity behind traditional Hannya masks. The player takes on the role of a hero who, as one of the few, managed to survive this catastrophe, and was also endowed with supernatural abilities. From now on, his task is not only to face the hordes of yokai, but also to unravel the mystery behind these events.GameplayIn Ghostwire: Tokyo the action is shown from the first person perspective ( FPP ). While traveling through the Japanese capital, we mainly deal with the fight against opponents. Each opponent has a unique set of moves and attacks, as well as an individual weak point; figuring out the former and discovering the latter is the key to victory. The adversaries include such ghosts as Amewarashi (an entity assuming the form of a small child in a yellow raincoat, able to summon other ghosts for help), Shiromuku (looking like a bride in a traditional white kimono) or Kuchisake (inspired by urban legends, strong and agile opponent equipped with long scissors).We fight them, making use of the protagonist's supernatural combat abilities, the range of which we expand as we progress.
