Fireclass 577.001.037FC 601SBD Conventional Diode Sounder BaseFireclass offer a choice of functional bases including the 601SBD EN54-3 approved low current sounder base with adjustable volume and tone. They do not require the use of a separate base and fit directly to a standard electrical box or the CTA adaptor plate.The Fireclass range of conventional detector ancillaries have been designed with the needs of the installer in mind. The range includes standard and diode bases sounder beacon and relay bases and the unique time saver ceiling tile adaptor.The 601SBD is for use in detection circuits complying with BS5839 Part 1 which requires that if callpoints are wired after detectors on a zone circuit the removal of a detector will not affect the operation of these callpoints. Removal of the detector should not prevent the sounder operating but will flag up a fault at the control panel.The 601SBD Diode Sounder Base provides eight tone and variable volume settings.
