Tour de France 2016 is a racing game with a cycling theme. The production was developed by the French studio Cyanide, the same team that was behind all the previous versions of the brand.
Gameplay
As the title suggests, the game revolves around the legendary Tour de France, one of the most important cycling events in the world, although the authors did not limit themselves to this competition only. The production was based on an official license, thanks to which we get real routes and teams as well as authentic athletes while playing. All of this was presented in the version corresponding to the 2016 state. In the 2016 Tour de France released on the PS4 and XONE platform, we can lead a single player who competes for the yellow jersey not only at 21 stages of the Tour de France, but also in other famous races, such as the three-day Critérium International or the weekly Critérium du Dauphiné . The gameplay system is arcade and requires direct control of the rider. Players also have to create tactical plans, choosing the perfect moments, for example to attack the position of competitors, or deciding how to distribute forces over the entire stage.
