Global Fire Vulcan 2 CS Conventional Red Base Sounder

Global Fire VULCAN2-CSB VULCAN 2 Conventional Base Sounder Beacon cw Lid

Global Fire Equipment VOX-C-VULCAN2-SB VULCAN 2 Conventional Base Voice Sounder - White

Global Fire Vulcan 2 ASI Addressable Red Base Sounder with Isolator

Global Fire Vulcan 2 ASI Addressable Red Base Sounder with Isolator

Global Fire Vulcan 2 ASI Addressable Red Base Sounder with IsolatorThe addressable VULCAN 2 A is available as an Addressable Sounder base which may be field configured to operate in either SHADOW or AUXILIARY modes. There are also versions available incorporating a loop isolator. Up to 64 VULCAN 2 A Sounder device can be connected to a single Loop depending on Loop Loading. All VULCAN 2 A devices have dip-switch Address setting while Tone and Mode selection is via a jumper. There is also a potentiometer which may be used to adjust the sound level if required. Normally the VULCAN 2 A will be used in conjunction with a detector however a lid is available as an option for the VULCAN 2 A.Shadow Sounder A Shadow Sounder does not have an individual address thus freeing up addresses for more detection devices. Shadow Sounders do not report back to the control panel so their presence on the Loop is not monitored. Auxiliary Sounder When the VULCAN 2 A is configured as an Auxiliary device it shares the same address as the detector with which it is co-located. When operating in this mode the VULCAN 2 A monitors the Address loop for the command from the control Panel to the detector to illuminate its LED.When this command is received the VULCAN 2 A is also activated. If a Fire is confirmed the remaining sounders may be activated using the Evacuate command. This reduces the inconvenience to other guests in the event of a false alarm while at the same time giving early warning to the occupant of the room in the case of an actual Fire event. Pressing Sounder silence at the panel silences all active sounders. The maximum number of Auxiliary Sounders is 63 and they can be allocated between address 1 and 63.Please Note this unit doesnt come with the lid as illustrated in the picture above please buy separately.

Global Fire OCTO-4 Loop Control Panel

Global Fire OCTO-4 Loop Control Panel

Global Fire OCTO-4 Loop Control PanelThe OCTO Fire Alarm Control Panel is built on the pedigree of the worldwide known JUNO NET. Now featuring a fully peer-to-peer multi-master networking solution. This new Chameleon Network solution enables extreme resilience in very large distributed systems. On a Chameleon Network system each network NODE has in its internal configuration memory the whole system information i.e. in the unlikely event of a communication loss there is no performance degradation of individual NODE.The network layout is usually configured in a closed loop or having physical multi-paths for communications redundancy which can use either RS422 or Fibre-Optic mediums. It can also use Ethernet interfaces which can use the existing networking infrastructure.A Chameleon Network can accommodate up to 32 NODE. Each OCTO panel can support from 1 to 4 addressable loops giving a total of 128 loops in a single systemNaturally it also supports remote access with our proprietary ODYSSEY Graphics Interface as well as integration with third party Building Management Systems through a Modbus output. The graphic backlit LCD display accommodates any type of custom characters or graphic symbols allowing multi-language support as well as pictorial and customisable elements.Housed in an aluminium back box with a reversible plastic lid it comprises a PSU a Front End Display for visualisation of the CI equipment status a NODE unit with the loop card fitted and networking interfaces if necessary. For each 4 loops there is space for installing up to 12 AH 24V DC Sealed Lead Acid backup batteries more than enough to provide up to 24 H battery supply to the NODE and ZEOS associated devices which boast extremely low current consumption.Take into account that all networked panels share the complete system knowledge. On a multi OCTO networked panels as far as the network architecture is concerned if no human-machine Interface is needed at a specific location instead of using a complete OCTO panel with display built in a simple NODE panel can be used.By having the same 4 Loops available and housed in the same aluminium back box without the Front End Display built in the lid the NODE offers the possibility to extend the system keeping the human interface access only available at specific locations. In addition to this each NODE has provision to communicate with a remote Repeater unit using any of the networking interfaces. The Cause and Effect programming as well as customer specific Configurations can be uploaded to any OCTO panel in the network using the CHAMELEON CONNECTOR software tool. This is done by USB connection. Later the updated panel can broadcast the same configuration to all other Chameleon Network panels.Key Features1 to 4 loops panelUp to 250 devices per loop 125 address limitUp to 95 VULCAN 2 addressable ultra low current base sounders 32 address limitSupports connection to Repeaters via RS422 Fibre-Optic or TCPIPNetworked system up to 128 loopsChameleon Peer-to-Peer Advanced Networking Protocol with up to 32 NODE32 individually programmable sounder addressesSupport of Non-European languages Mandarin Arabic Hindu Urdu Farsi etc.Full Self-Addressable Devices supportBuilt in Fire Fault relays2 conventional alarm outputs individually programmableDetection loops monitored for integrity384 fully programmable multi loop zones512 fully programmable sounder groups512 IO groupsEvent log rolling 10000 entriesRemovable Chassis
