Hermann Oak tie-down is a leather harness of superior quality.Features: When a horse's head gets above a desired height, the martingale places pressure on the head so that it becomes more difficult or impossible to raise it higher. It works independently of the rider, the strip of soft leather of which it is composed, is attached at one end to the girth with a brass snap hook, and the other to a ring placed under the throat of the horse. The latter, when just raises his head is prevented from moving by the tense tie-down that affects the nose, a delicate part of the horse.
