Among Us is a fun, two-dimensional multiplayer game that defies genre classifications. We deal with the preparation of the spacecraft for departure - at the same time we cooperate and compete with other players. The title was developed and published by the independent studio Innersloth.
Rules
In Among Us we observe the action from above - from the so-called top-down perspective. This is an unusual production in which our task is to prepare the spacecraft for departure. This requires cooperation with other participants of the game - we perform various tasks together, thanks to which we fill a special belt.
However, we must be careful - there are saboteurs in the group, whose task is to disrupt our ranks. We need to observe the map and camera images all the time to see what other players are doing. Interestingly, an alternative way to end the game is to find and throw all hidden enemies from the ship. Saboteurs can spoil various ship components and even kill crew members.Groups have the option of holding meetings where events are discussed and voting on who will be thrown out of the ship.
It is worth noting that the game allows you to customize both the character we play (we can change the color and the hat) and various mechanics (e.g. by adding more saboteurs or tasks). Among Us has very simple, two-dimensional graphics. The binding is not impressive, but it is clear and well reflects the humorous nature of the game. The game does not contain microtransactions, but as DLC you can buy various cosmetic accessories, such as skins or pets (e.g. a tiny hamster in a spherical terrarium).
