eFootball PES 2020 is the next installment of the well-known series of Pro Evolution Soccer football simulators. The production puts much more emphasis on esports gameplay and introduces numerous improvements to the gameplay mechanics. The Japanese company Konami, which has been consistently developing the series since its inception in 1996, is responsible for its development and release (although the roots of this brand go back even further - then it was known as International Superstar Soccer). Andres Iniesta, the legend of the FC Barcelona team, was involved in the work on the game.
Gameplay
eFootball PES 2020 is a classic soccer simulator that combines a high level of realism with affordability. Compared to the previous part, a number of changes have been introduced, such as an improved ball receiving and handling system, improved passes and action creation mechanics, thanks to which we can carry out efficient counterattacks and tactically use the free space on the pitch.
The creators also took care of a number of additional maneuvers (e.g. a new type of dribbling, as well as a lot of tricks to avoid rivals) and plays (e.g. "first ball" strokes). The changes can also be found in the Master League mode - the transfer management mechanics have been improved (which results in a more realistic valuation of players) and a special, interactive dialogue system has been added
Game Modes
In eFootball PES 2020, we can play both alone and with others. Contrary to the previous installments of the series, the game focuses on multiplayer gameplay - especially in the professional (e-sports) edition. The creators also introduced a completely new Matchday module, in which players choose one of the two sides and cooperate with the rest of the team, taking part in the competition and fighting for a place in the grand finale.
