The metal is also 8% thinner than previous designs which allows for much more energy to be transferred through to a golf ball for higher ball speeds that can easily be created. For even greater ball speed the Mizuno irons use a new V-Chassis that allows for a much more solid vibration pattern for greater control, and the thinnest part of the sole on this club has been extended by 18% to be made winder. This larger area allows for much more consistent ball speed to be generated across the club face thanks to the high-energy area being increased. Because of all of the speed that these Mizuno Hot Metal Irons are able to generate, plenty of focus has been made looking to increasing the stopping power for greater control.
