Notifier NFXI-BEAM Loop Powered Beam Detector

Notifier NFXI-BEAM Loop Powered Beam DetectorThe Opal addressable beam detector is an intelligent reflector type linear optical beam smoke detector designed to operate with Notifier addressable fire alarm systems. It operates primarily on the principle of light obscuration utilising infra-red light. The Infra-Red transmitter generates a beam of light towards a high efficiency reflect. The reflector returns the beam to the receiver where an analysis of the received signal is made. The change in the strength of the received signal is used to determine the alarm condition.Key Features5 100m operating range designed for the protection of buildings such as shopping centres heritage buildings warehouses and other structures with large open spacesEasy set-up and calibration with visual aids for both coarse and fine adjustmentLoop powered with built in isolation for system mappingUtilizes the advanced Opal digital protocol whilst remaining backward compatible with existing Notifier systemThe NFXI-BEAM-T Beam Detector features a unique remote test capability that fully tests both the optics and the electronics of the device. Notifier Local Silence Button Kit NF-SIL-BKIT

Notifier Local Silence Button Kit NF-SIL-BKIT

Notifier Local Silence Button Kit NF-SIL-BKITThe NOTIFIER Local Silence Button in conjunction with the advanced programmingprovided by the Pearl control panel enables the use of a full BS5839 Part 1 system inapplications such as assisted living retirement homes student accommodation highrise residential buildings. Often the risk of false alarm in such buildings has led to thesesorts of installation being provided with individual systems for the flats linked to alandlord system for the shared area. The use of the NOTIFIER local silence button and Type-B dependency programmingnow enables full BS 5839 Part 1 systems to be installed in all areas.Type B DependencyType B dependency allows a zone to be defined for each individual flat that acts as ifit were a separate system. On receipt of an unconfirmed fire signal from a flat onlythe local alarm within the flat is given. If the alarm is confirmed by a second signal thesystem proceeds to the relevant evacuation stage general alarm or part of stagedevacuation. Alternatively if the confirmation signal is not given the system may resetautomatically without attendance by facility management staff.Local Silence ButtonThe local silence button is a multi-position switch that allows not only sounder test andsilencing but also disablement of smoke detection and the indication of disablement. Aswith other features it is flexible in configuration so that the facilities may be tailored tosuit each site.NOTIFIER NF-SIL-BKIT LOCAL SILENCE BUTTON KIT FEATURESBest detection throughout. AllowsOpal multi criteria detectors to reducefalse alarms.Fully configurable. Allowing theinstaller to design delay periods andresponse times on all parts of thesystem in order to ensure it meetsyour building requirements.Flexible and simple to install. TheLocal Silence Button is available in a kitincluding wiring loom and loop moduleSupporting compliance. BS5839 Part6 requires the alarm in each dwellingto be tested on a regular basis. Thisactivity is logged on the Pearl systemallowing landlords to check theresidents are performing this taskensuring fire safety and compliance.Local Silence of an AlarmThe user is able to silence the local sounder or sounder beacons within their premisesby pressing the Fire Alarm Silence button when a detector has activated within theirpremises. When the site is in a full evacuation mode this feature is disabled and thelocal sounder or sounder beacons cannot be silenced by the user.Local DisablementIf the user believes that they may generate an unwanted alarm from a smoke detectorwithin their premises they can press and hold the Fire Alarm Silence button for 5seconds. The yellow LED illuminates which will then disable the detection in that zoneonly for a configurable period of between 5-15 minutes in accordance with BS5839 Part 6.At the end of the configured period the zone will automatically re-enable all detectionwill be active and the LED will be extinguished.Local TestA test feature is available which allows the user to operate the sounder or sounderbeacons within the local zone by pressing and holding down the Fire Alarm Testbutton once released the sounder or sounder beacons will silence.ConnectionThe button is connected to the Pearl loop via a Notifier 21 dual input single outputinterface unit and a 5-core cable.

Notifier ABT-TNL100-1 Tunnel Horn Loudspeaker - 100 W with 76 horizontal x 90 Vertical DisplayIn case of an emergency the Voice Evacuation System needs to guide people in the tunnel to safety so the audio transmission should be as clear as possible. In general due to high levels of reverberation and noise a tunnel is not an ideal environment for Voice Evacuation System and therefore speech intelligibility becomes a critical parameter for any voice alarm application. To establish a sufficient level of speech intelligibility a highly directional speakers system is required. By reducing the energy emitted to other surfaces reflective sound energy can be minimized which results in a better direct to reverberant ratio. This will improve the maximum feasible speech intelligibility. To minimize disturbing echo effects resulting in a loss of speech intelligibility each horn speaker is driven by an individual signal channel in a 100 V installation which is equipped with audio DSP including EQ and delay. Our product S4T Safety For Tunnel offers the most effective solution which seamlessly combines a dedicated Voice Evacuation System with tailored Tunnel Loudspeakers.Key FeaturesSpecially designed for tunnel applicationsHighly directional asymmetric hornExcellent speech intelligibilityStainless steel constructionWaterproof housing IP66High power output 10050 WCompliance with BS5839-8 standard Thermal protection
