Nursecall Intercall ARFXIP IP POE RF Receiver

Nursecall Intercall ARFXIP IP POE RF Receiver

Nursecall Intercall ARFXIP IP POE RF ReceiverAddressable Radio Receiver Units are used in external areas where infrared coverage is not available. Housed within a metal IP65 rated weatherproof enclosure these receivers offer superb reliability. This personal alarm system component is housed within a metal IP65 rated weatherproof enclosure designed specifically to provide coverage for external areas such as car parks patios and gardens or to provide back up for the infrared receivers inside a building. The RF range can be affected by many factors including the weather and local conditions e.g. location of buildings large metal objects cars vans chain link fences etc and it is strongly recommended that a site survey is done to ascertain the correct number and locations of ARFX units required.Primary ModePrimary mode is used when the radio receiver is out of range of any infrared receivers or when there are no infrared receivers used on the system. Any radio receiver located on an out-building or mast in a car park which is away from the main building should be set to primary mode. Units which are set to secondary mode will take typically 8 to 10 seconds to activate.Secondary ModeSecondary mode is used when the radio receiver is within range of the infrared receivers or when the radio receiver is intended as a back up to the infrared system. Any incident that triggers an infrared receiver will not activate an ARFX in secondary mode - ensuring that the correct location is shown on the DISP1 dislay. Any incident that is not picked up by the infrared receivers will be picked up by the radio receiver which will then initiate the alarm. If the same incident is subsequently picked up by the infrared receivers they will then take over from the radio receiver location. In the event of tampering with the ARFX the unit has a tamper switch built into it which will alert the LCD displays located around the building. As with all Guardian receiver units the ARFX is addressable. In addition there is a removable jumper inside to disable the tamper switch.Key FeaturesProvides coverage for external areas where IR coverage would be unsuitableCan also provide backup for the IR receivers inside a buildingFully addressable

Nursecall Intercall STC8 HF IR RF Activation Device

Nursecall Intercall STC8 HF IR RF Activation DeviceThe STC8 Dual Technology Personal Activation Device comprises not only of infra red transmitters battery monitor circuit with confidence LED push button activator and attack level retained peg activation method but also has a radio transmitter and aerial built into the unit. The unit once activated sends an Infra red signal as described above and simultaneously sends the same codes via the radio transmitter. This dual technology provides RF back up to the infra red or additional coverage to larger external areas such as Staff Car Parks where it is impractical to use infra red.The STC8 transmits on a high infra red frequency as well as the standard infra red frequency. This means it is ideal for use on sites where high frequency switched lighting has been installed and overcomes the potential problems associated with type of lighting technology. It can also be used on older sites where the standard Guardian AIRX4 IR Receivers have been installed. The Guardian and InterCall systems are intelligent and will only acknowledge the RF Signal if the system has NOT detected an Infrared Signal from the same user. When it has received an Infrared signal it will track the activated user cancelling alerts from past locations and only showing the currentlatest location. If the user is out of Infrared range and only RF is being detected the system will show the last known location this will be the location of the nearest RF Receiver which has a 50m range.Key FeaturesInfrared TransmitterSTC8 also has a radio transmitter and aerial built into the unitConfidence LEDPush button activator - call level 1Snatch pin - call level 2 generally AttackBoth buttons are programmable and offer a number of levels of call typeTransmit to wall mounted call points with infrared receivers or dedicated receivers mounted at high levelOnce activated sends an infrared signal as described above and simultaneously sends the same codes via the radio transmitterThis dual technology provides RF back up to the infrared or additional coverage to larger external areas such as Staff Car Parks where it is impractical to use infrared

Nursecall SSD-BEDKIT Fall Alarm Controller amp Bed Exit Sensor Mat

Nursecall SSD-BEDKIT Fall Alarm Controller amp Bed Exit Sensor Mat

Nursecall SSD-BEDKIT Fall Alarm Controller Bed Exit Sensor MatThe risk of a patient getting out of a bed and leaving themselves susceptible to injury is a problem many caregivers have to deal with on a daily basis. We offer bed exit alarms that make this job easier and reduce the likelihood a patient will leave their bed and wander unsupervised while at risk of falling. The system can be connected the nurse call system using the provided connection lead or can be used stand-alone if preferred. The bed exit alarm notifies staff when a resident leaves their bed. The alarm can sound locally in the room itself or it can be connected to a nurse call system so that the alarm is transmitted around the building. The system can also be supplied with portable pagers so that the alarm is sent to staff directly while they are on the move. The controller works in 1 of 3 selectable modesWith a bed or chair sensor mat when a person attempts to get up from the bed or chairWith a floor mat when a person steps on or applies weight to the sensorWith a magnetic pull cord that alerts staff if the client moves away from the controller e.g. attempts to leave a chair unsupervisedKey FeaturesCan work as a standalone system or are compatible with most nurse call systems with an optional connector leadOptional 2 second delay to help minimise false alarmsSilent mode available when connected to call systemsClip-on sensor can raise an alarm if client leaves areaMultiple audio levels to suit every situationBattery-powered with optional mains PSU available
