Legend of Dungeon is a walking brawl spiced up with elements taken from the action-RPG production. The game was developed by the independent studio RobotLovesKitty.
Story
The plot does not play a significant role in Legend of Dungeon and is only an excuse for fun. In the game, up to four heroes venture into the dungeons full of monsters to search for treasures. Legend has it that on the twenty-sixth level of the dungeons, unimaginable riches are hidden. Our task is to get there, loot all the valuables, and then get to the surface.
Gameplay
It all sounds like a typical Diablo clone , but in Legend of Dungeon , RPG elements play a secondary role. Instead, the combat system resembles the popular arcade fighting games and the outcome of the clashes depends primarily on our own dexterity. The camera also stays true to this style, showing the action from the side. The game can be played alone, but the whole game was developed mainly with the cooperation mode in mind. When we die, our hero turns into a ghost that must collect the right amount of energy balls to return to the living. This is possible as long as at least one of your teammates is still alive. However, when they all die, the game ends. It also means that when playing alone, every death is final. Legend of Dungeon offers four playable classes. The knight has the highest damage resistance and can attract enemy attacks, thus protecting the party. Ninja, apart from melee skills, can also use shuriken stars. The Doctor is useful for healing the rest of the party, and the sorcerer has a wide range of powerful spells. Each hero also has his own pet (e.g. bear, hawk, wolf or cat) that can be trained to attack enemies and collect gold.
