Wool navy waterrepelling

The classic coat woolThe wool coat is a classic! And while you can design and sew a wool coat from many different types of wool, you'll get the classic look when you choose this wadding for your project. In short, it's a look that never goes out of fashion and is perfect for children, young people and adults alike. That said, you naturally calf's wool is usable for all sorts of other things. The material is long lasting and water-repellent, making it ideal for outerwear. For example, have you considered a short jacket - perhaps with a zip - or a roomy poncho that's easy to pull over your head and cosy to snuggle up in?  We also use the wool for shirts with pockets, where the heavy felted quality gives the shirt a pretty cool look.  Homespun - what is it?Homespun is a lightweight twill woven wool that has been processed with water, soap, heat and beating, then scratched up to give you a dense structure that is virtually windproof and waterproof. Originally, wadding was made from pure wool and used, for example, for work wear. Today, it is often a blended product to ensure the best possible quality. Practical InformationThis fabric is made up of 65% wool, 25% nylon and 10% polyester. It is 145 cm wide and you can choose the number of metres you need for your project. Please note that this wool is not washable. Remember to use the right needles - we recommend using universal needles when sewing with this wool. And a little tip: you can increase the stitch length to get a nice finished look.

Jersey in Beautiful Colours Jersey is a popular material for DIY wardrobe items: It's soft, comfortable to wear, and easy to work with. This means that jersey is incredibly versatile for everyday clothing designs for both adults and children. The many colours offer a plethora of options: Sew your favourite styles in multiple colours or mix different colours in one design – the choice is yours! Unleash Your Imagination When discussing cotton jersey, you can't ignore the classic designs: The simple top with short or long sleeves and the popular leggings for children and adults; the material is simply perfect for these classics. But you can also let your imagination run wild and experiment with the fabric for skirts and dresses or exciting new trousers and tops. Regardless of what you choose, cotton jersey is a versatile and soft material – and a clear favourite among children and adults. A Bit About the Practicalities This fabric is made of 92% organic cotton and 8% elastane. It has a width of 150 cm, and of course, you decide the length you wish to order. When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterised by its medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80. Partly Organic Products with this label contain a minimum of 25% organic content. For example, fabrics with organic cotton mixed with other fibres. We've introduced this label to make it easier for you to identify the proportion of organic material.

This fabric is a good choice, as you get a quality that is lightweight, practical, windproof and waterproof with a water column pressure of 5,000 mm.  Choose from several beautiful colours.  Rainwear That Fits Design rainwear that's not just functional, but also stylish and personal. When you sew your own rainwear, you have the opportunity to tailor it to your needs and preferences. Adjust the design to fit your exact figure and add pockets and other details to suit your needs.  To ensure your rainwear remains waterproof, it's important to seal the seams by making the correct stitches: Search for "seam tape for rainwear fabric" and find a free guide.  About Water Column Pressure Water column pressure indicates how large a column of water the material can withstand before water begins to penetrate. If you're going to be out in heavy rain, we recommend +8,000 mm.  Some Practical Information This fabric consists of 65% polyester and 35% polyurethane. The width is 140 cm, while you naturally choose the length you need for your project.  We recommend using a universal needle size 70.  What is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®? Woven rainwear quality navy

Wind and waterproof, ready for the rain Rainwear is practical when it's raining, but the fact is, it can be challenging to find rainwear with a good fit. The legs are too long, the sleeves too wide, and that small pocket for the key is missing. You can solve this by designing and sewing your own rainwear! Choose, for instance, this exquisite rainwear quality, which is soft, fabric-like and sporty in its expression. It has a membrane on the back, making it perfect for all weather conditions – and suitable for both children and adults. The quality is wind and waterproof with a water column pressure of 7,000 mm and good breathability of 3,000 mm. Sew smart rainwear This material is naturally suited for classic rainwear that you can adjust to your exact size. However, the fabric-like surface also makes it especially suitable for a neat waterproof coat or perhaps an all-in-one suit with a tie belt at the waist? Alternatively, you can use this fabric as the backside for a picnic blanket, ensuring everyone sits dry and comfortable – even if it's rained in the past few days or the dew has set in. Keep your project waterproof by using the right seams: Search for "seam tape for rainwear fabric" and find a free guide.
