The stretch provides freedom of movement, and overall, it's just a light and delightful quality.  What is slub stretch jersey? This name refers to a classic knitted jersey fabric with stretch, where "slub" refers to the fine little irregularities in the fabric due to varying thread thicknesses. It provides a slightly rustic look.  Some Practical Information This fabric consists of 96% organic cotton and 4% elastane. You choose the length you need for your sewing project – the width is 155 cm. The fabric shrinks 6% when washed.  When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterised by its medium tip – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80. Organic Products with this label consist of 95% organic content or more. Duchess satin with stretch white

The most flexible satinDresses, jackets, shirts, tops and skirts - you can sew pretty much anything you want with this stretch satin fabric.   It's the classic satin weave with elastane added, so you get a more matte surface and a more flexible material with greater freedom of movement than the classic satin weaves. Choose from a wide range of beautiful colours and get crafty for your next festive occasion. A little more about this satinThe fabric is made of polyester/elastane, measures 135 cm in width and can be washed at 40° - remember to let it air dry hanging and iron only at low heat. It shrinks approx. 1% in the wash. TIP: Sharp scissors are a must when working with satin. The fabric can be difficult to cut because it's slippery and also offers a lot of resistance. Use a good quality pair of fabric scissors or, if you want to make it even easier, a sharp roller knife/roller cutter. Search "9 tips for sewing satin" for more tips. What is satin? Satin refers to the way the fabric is woven, where one side of the material is smooth and shiny. For this satin you will need stretch needles. 

Coarse linen/viscose white

Linen/viscose in beautiful colours A wonderful material for creative projects at home. The combination of linen and viscose provides you with a fabric that is softer and wrinkles less than pure linen; it has a bit of elasticity and excellent absorption capabilities.   Take note of the clear structure of the fabric, which looks good on many surfaces.   DIY – mainly for the home Use this fabric for various home projects: Curtains, cushions, napkins, and tablecloths – this fabric is perfect for all.   Create small details on the cushions with matching buttons, and use the structure to embroider a simple pattern or text. Elastic 5mm white 10m

The classic multi-purpose elastic bandIf there's one elastic band that brings back memories, it's probably this one. It reminds you of the type of elastic band that was a key component of your parents' sewing box; it was the elastic you found when you were allowed to rummage for nice buttons - and if you were lucky, you got a little piece to play with. The elastic is flat, the quality is braided, and it really is a great go-to elastic. With its 5 mm width, it's perfect as elastic for children's trousers, lovely puff sleeves and elegant necklines on tops and dresses. But it's also your go-to when you need elastic for festive masks for Shrove Tuesday and Halloween.   We prefer to use the elastic so that it is hidden in a drawstring. This elastic band can be washed at 60° and tumble dried at low heat, so you can also use it for panties, for example. This is simply a high quality elastic that keeps its elasticity wash after wash.

Woven interlining white

Freudenberg’s iron-on canvas is a lightweight, soft and fusible interfacing made of 100% cotton. The interfacing is 90 cm wide. Fix the interfacing WITHOUT steam. Just press for about 8-10 seconds at medium iron temperature (2 dots). Move the iron. Press firmly and continue until you have fused the adhesive on your sewing project. We recommend that you do a fuse test on a small piece of fabric before you start. Allow the fabric piece to cool. Iron-on canvas is ideal for use with light and medium-weight shirt fabrics and similar fabrics made of cotton. Use a lightweight interfacing to stabilise and stiffen small sections, such as collars, pockets and bodices on blouses, jackets, etc.
